@furby_cec Peabody and Sherman is so so in my opinion, The R&B and Dudley Do Right cartoons were where it was at. Fractured Fairy Tales and Aesop and Son are entirely skippable.

Sometimes it makes me sad when I talk about Bullwinkle and everyone says Peabody and Sherman is better 😭😭

As far as brightly colored animated kids movies go, you can do worse. But it doesn't strive to be more than that.

Rosalina, Mario, and my thoughts on a movie four months after it was released.#rosalina 🧵

I saw the film with my boyfriend and we did indeed enjoy ourselves. But after having time to sit with it, I feel like we were cheated out of a much better experience. With all the marketing leading up to this movie, I do not blame anyone for being upset with what we were served.

Rosalina was good but she was butchered in spite of the great work Brie Larson did voicing her. The storybook from the game was completely scrapped in favor of a new angle of her and Peach being siblings. Who were in space for some reason?

It's not fair that the people who had waited over a decade for this movie were served something that only halfway adapts the source material and spends the rest of it rushing through unrelated Mario iconography while also getting roofied with an extended ad for Starfox.

The Galaxy movie was the most fun I've had while also actively being disappointed. While the references were entertaining, it completely biffed adapting the game it was supposedly based on.

Mr. Potato Head was just an asshole but he still was a good guy, hell he even volunteered risking his life to save Woody and was ashamed of his actions. Gene can go fuck himself tho, it's his fault the entire movie happened the way it did and never apologizes for it
