@ItsMegaChan The ways things are going, they’ll be making remakes of films less then a year old. Before you know it, we’ll be getting live action versions before the animated version comes out.

They seem to range from completely helpless inanimate objects that the complex barely remembers to fully realized entities with internal organs and the ability to eat and vocalize (Pirate Clark).

The tension building up to the reveal of Pirate Clark was just perfect - the redhead suddenly bolting, Clark and Mary looking around confused, the sound of those footsteps getting closer with that eerie music underneath it. And then the actual shot composition during his entry and the conversation with Clark leading right up to him devouring Clark. Everything about this scene was amazing

@BurgundyStriker I think it explains why pirate Clark isn’t absolutely drenched in blood from killing humans. He primarily eats other still lifes which have the white spongy insides. The still-lifes view him as an apex predator despite having no reaction to human Clark cutting pieces off them.

this looks like a really cool way to promote the original film. like if this had been a cool one-off music video made during the 2016 film run to promote it, I think it would have been well-received actually. it looks more like marketing than a movie.
