Startups Aren’t Just Software Now. They’re Studios.
If you look around, the smartest tech companies don’t just build products.
They craft narratives.
And ironically, those are the ones raising the most money, even when the product isn’t fully there.
They drop trailers. Tease launches.
Build anticipation like filmmakers.
Because in today’s world, distribution is product.
Markets ebb and flow.
But attention is always scarce.
And in a market flooded with options,
your ability to tell a compelling story becomes the core differentiator.
Right now, everyone’s looking for someone to make their launch video.
Everyone’s playing the attention game.
In that sense, startups have begun to operate like studios.
And the smartest studios?
Most Hollywood studios are stuck in outdated legacy systems.
The smartest studios of the internet-era?
They think like startups.

I'd put our team against anyone else in the world.
in the past 9 months we've:
1. Sold out a 1200 person film festival
2. Partnered with the Government of Switzerland to fly out 100 creators
3. Produced commercial productions with Coca-Cola, Spotify, Notion, etc
Honestly, if we had to build a cement company I bet this team could pull it off
It's been the craziest journey of pivots, limitless conviction, and lifelong memories.
What a privilege.
Camp began because I was a lonely creator who had just dropped out of college and wanted friends.
What followed was a set of twists & turns that led us to discovering the most undervalued asset class in the creator space --IP & Franchises.
We're building a whole new model ground up. From producing, distributing, and even building the next Sundance - the entire pipeline needs to be rethought.
It's truly David vs Goliath and sometimes feels like no one sees what we do
but even if we're early--we'll be ready.
