@jeffr0 I failed miserably yesterday. They were buy one get one free and I couldn’t say no. I’ll be running all weekend.🤣
English

@bgardner @bymilesai I have been really excited about it since getting to play with it as well. Gonna try to push it pretty hard on a new project this weekend!
English

I’ve posted several times about how blown away I am with the design capabilities of @bymilesai. Below are screens of a site I had it build for me. Go sign up and experience the magic: beta.bymiles.ai/?ref=xgs1483u

English

@PineDigitalCo I certainly could at this point And it might actually be pretty damn good🤷♂️
English

Having fun with bymile.ai this evening.... I know the colors say a certain something
.....but if you've lived in Miami, been to Miami, it's a vibe....
And naturally I'm going to swap it out to hot pink and black soon enough!

English

@CasJam Same and even worse, I downloaded Xcode on one of my machines and now that seem to be a default but now I’m pretty exclusively in the terminal, thankfully
English

@gregisenberg 100%, I think about this often although it really makes me respect the people I enjoy working with even more! I think there’s a world where both makes 100% sense.
English

@chrislema Agreed, although I do feel like agenetic engineering resonates the best for me personally so far🤷♂️ but like you said, the phrasing doesn’t necessarily matter in the end it’s about solving the problem!
English

"Vibe coding" sounds like you just said, "give me a cool new CRM in light blue"
"Spec developed" sounds like you wrote a large and detailed requirements doc, and gave it to a code generator.
"Hand coded" sounds like it cost 10x and took years, like you thought you were hand-carving furniture.
No matter the phrase you use, someone is going to judge you. So ignore the phrases and the people.
English

@bgardner @apeatling @mikemcalister @famousish Agreed great tools and design by all 3 and many others, definitely exciting to see again!🙌🙌
English

I’ve been pretty critical of the design coming out of the WordPress community over the years. But recent work from @apeatling, @mikemcalister, and @famousish gives me hope.
English

A lot of conversations with Wispr Flow that goes into a Obsidian Vault I do a morning brain dump a midday check-in lots of them and then an evening review seems to work for me is that perfect but always improving it obsidian is really good at reminding me and surfacing things with my set up for it
English

@chrispian lol, sometimes(most of the time I wanna keep pushing) but I am starting to wonder if I should maybe listen to agent suggestions sometimes🤷♂️🫠🤣
English

Haven’t launched it yet still mucking around locally but loving working on projects for myself or with my kids, using bymiles.ai by @apeatling awesome tool! Highly recommend🙌🙌

English

@AlexStandiford Yeah, I do a bit of that as well similar but every week I feel like I’m kind of changing things and reconfiguring regardless, but it is getting tighter and improving every day which is the goal with that and pretty much anything I suppose!
English

@builtwtf I have a "sources" dir where external stuff goes, and then I write about those things in notes. That way I can reference the original but still make it sane. I'm also BIG on having AI interview me to probe and extract what needs to be in my notes.
