While it’s quite a controversial topic, we believe that tank controls add to the intensity of the gameplay experience that defines the whole Resident Evil series. We specifically kept them when reviving the original RE trilogy on our platform and adding it to the GOG Preservation Program, as we see them as part of the original experience and a necessary “friction” that ultimately adds to the masterpiece status of these classic titles. And what’s your take? ;)

@headwaregames Do people even know what tank controls are? Latelly I've been seeing a lot of people calling tank controls to the ALTERNATE controls from RE1 Remake (HD versions).

I just read a comment that said tank controls are 'friction against immersion' and I am struggling to process this concept

@manfightdragon I wish there was also a option to turn off the minimap. The Triangle key doesnt do anything so they could have easily made it to open or close the map 😔

The Day-1 patch for Fatal Frame 2 REMAKE just dropped for PS5 and you can now disable Film Grain/Noise on console. They also added 1 new unlockable outfit which I am not sure what it is or how to unlock it, it's not mentioned in the review guide or anything. Interesting!

@RinoTheBouncer I dont think this has anything to do with the steam machines. This decision comes after xbox announcing their new console will be able to play PC games which means it will be able to run playstation games that are on PC and thats something Playstation doesnt want.

I've finished Kriophobia yesterday and what a great survival horror game. It takes inspiration from the classics I love and still manages to feel fresh. Great job devs 😎
