Alright, you want to talk about “low income kids”? Texas under Abbott: - Highest percentage of uninsured children in the United States - Ranks 48th in overall child health - Leads nation in mass shootings - Your 2021 statewide power outage killed hundreds of Texans including “low income kids” - After your abortion ban, infant deaths up 12.9% And now you want to defund the public schools that these kids depend on and raise everyone’s property taxes!
Greg Abbott@GregAbbott_TX

Robert Francis O’Rourke doesn’t want low-income kids to have the same opportunities HE had at private school. Maybe that’s why Texans told you NO in 2022.

I would like to express my gratitude to the international community of all colours and creeds for their immense support of the Afrikaners and other minorities in South Africa. We have suffered persecution for our skin colour for decades. Some of the laws even prevent kids from competing in school sports based on their race. Some laws are only applied to whites. Some laws say 'willing buyer, willing seller' but if you refuse, you are murdered just a few months later to free up the land by force. The militia groups carrying out the muderes have been filmed coming into farms with military-grade equipment like signal jammers and fully automatic weapons... This is enabled by the ANC, who train them as SANDF and then unexpectedly cut them from duty, citing financial issues with salaries, even while they send money back to the treasury every year for underspending. Furthermore, many of these politicians encourage rhetoric of killing our farmers and minorities at huge rallies where crowds in the thousands chant gleefully with them, calling for our deaths. Some will even outright deny the farm murders happening at all when the topic arises, they say we are killing ourselves and cite one or two domestic cases as if it somehow offsets thousands of dead farmers. This is purely genocidal behaviour at not only an institutional level but an individual level too. There is no other way to describe it. Now those same politicians have decided to try to expropriate the land with no compensation from those who developed bare bushveld into huge commercial farms through generations of work. This is the same government who claims there will be no forced removals... But it's already happening... Some people will attempt to stay, especially the older ones who have spent their lives building here. There may even be a civil war over this... And you have to understand that many more won't simply leave their families behind or hope for an alternative outcome in the next election. People are intertwined here. But even with that many more thousands will take the offer, dividing communities and families. I can tell you that the vast majority of people are grateful for the support and offer by the US. It truely is a watershed moment for us. And for that. We thank you.

promises a future kingdom, a restored Israel, or eternal life for believers, those promises are taken as absolute truths. Allegorizing these promises undermines confidence in God’s faithfulness. 2. Providing Doctrinal Clarity Literal interpretation establishes a clear distinction between Israel and the Church, the covenants, and the dispensations. This clarity prevents doctrinal confusion, such as conflating the Law and grace or misapplying Old Testament commands to New Testament believers. 3. Strengthening Eschatological Hope Believers can confidently anticipate the fulfillment of biblical prophecies, such as the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), Christ’s return (Revelation 19:11-16), and the new heaven and earth (Revelation 21:1-4). These events, understood literally, provide hope and motivation for faithful living. Conclusion Literal interpretation is essential to dispensationalism, ensuring that Scripture is understood as God intended. By avoiding the pitfalls of allegorization, believers can preserve the integrity of biblical doctrine and grasp the fullness of God’s redemptive plan. From the Millennial Kingdom to the promises of the Abrahamic Covenant, a literal approach reveals the consistency and reliability of God’s Word. Jesus Himself demonstrated the importance of interpreting Scripture literally, setting an example for believers to follow. As we commit to taking the Bible at face value, we honor God’s truth and equip ourselves to live faithfully in anticipation of His promises.

3 of 8: Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth: Literal Interpretation and Its Importance At the heart of dispensationalism lies the principle of a literal interpretation of Scripture. This approach asserts that the Bible should be understood in its plain, normal sense unless context or literary style (such as poetry, metaphor, or parable) dictates otherwise. A literal hermeneutic forms the foundation for dispensational theology, providing a consistent and coherent framework for understanding God’s Word. This essay explores the importance of literal interpretation, highlights the dangers of allegorical or spiritualized interpretations, and provides examples from Scripture that demonstrate how a literal approach yields clarity and truth. The Dangers of Allegorical or Spiritualized Interpretations Allegorical or spiritualized interpretations have been a significant source of doctrinal confusion throughout church history. Allegorizing Scripture involves ascribing symbolic meanings to texts that were intended to be understood literally. While some passages are indeed metaphorical or symbolic, indiscriminate allegorization can distort the intended meaning of the Bible and lead to theological errors. Historical Consequences The early church witnessed a rise in allegorical interpretations through figures like Origen, who viewed much of Scripture as symbolic. While his intentions may have been sincere, this approach laid the groundwork for widespread doctrinal inconsistencies. For example, the promises made to Israel in the Old Testament were often allegorized as applying to the Church, giving rise to replacement theology. This doctrine disregards the literal promises of land, kingdom, and blessing that God made to Israel (Genesis 15:18-21; 2 Samuel 7:12-16). Modern Implications In contemporary theology, allegorical interpretations are often employed to fit Scripture into preexisting worldviews or cultural norms. This can result in: •Denial of literal creation (Genesis 1-2). •Rejection of future eschatological events, such as the Millennial Kingdom (Revelation 20). •Dilution of doctrinal truths, such as the exclusivity of Christ for salvation (John 14:6). By abandoning a literal approach, interpreters risk imposing personal or cultural biases onto the text, obscuring God’s intended message. The Clarity of Literal Interpretation A literal interpretation, in contrast, seeks to understand Scripture in its grammatical and historical context. This method ensures that the Bible is taken at face value, allowing its message to speak for itself. Key examples demonstrate how literal interpretation provides clarity and preserves doctrinal integrity. Example 1: The Millennial Kingdom (Revelation 20:1-6) Revelation 20 describes a thousand-year reign of Christ on earth, during which Satan is bound. A literal interpretation affirms the reality of this future event, as the text explicitly states the duration and nature of the reign. The repeated mention of “a thousand years” leaves little room for symbolic interpretation. However, those who allegorize this passage often claim that the Millennium represents the spiritual reign of Christ in the hearts of believers during the Church Age. This interpretation disregards the explicit details in the text, such as the binding of Satan, which has clearly not occurred, given the ongoing presence of evil in the world. A literal approach not only aligns with the text but also upholds the integrity of God’s promises to Israel regarding a future kingdom (Isaiah 11:6-9; Ezekiel 37:21-28). Example 2: The Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 12:1-3) The promises God made to Abraham include a specific land, descendants, and blessings for all nations through his seed. A literal interpretation affirms that these promises will be fulfilled exactly as stated. The land promise, for instance, has not yet been fully realized (Genesis 15:18-21). Allegorizing this covenant as merely
