@SarahBurssty These hurdles were incredibly triggering for her & I ended up navigating most of this. We were totally freaked out b/c LI is the only way to get work in her profession & she'd just been laid off after her company dropped DEI. We made it through & are stable again, thankfully.

This is what happens when you replace 10-20% of your workforce with AI scabbing. Client facing bugs. Outages. I can count on one hand the number of times @Google search has gone down while the internet was up. We'll be seeing more enshittification.

Nobody wants to work for a company building a product to replace themselves. Nobody wants to work for a company hiring amid mass layoffs. Reallocate your own workforce. Don't cut people loose and flood the job market to try and drive down salaries. Crisis is not your friend.

Apparently the real key to success is basically giving a recruiter the brushoff. I never fucking understood that. I'm managing a programmer's LI and have told M3ta, GC, and a bunch of these in-person work boomers pls fuck off and they basically start stalking you.

@LiquidDeath The good news here is that unlike the classic recipe that was perpetually out of stock, the stevia packs are going to *always* be in stock due to no demand. The bad news is that I had to buy teabags, agave nectar, and liquid B12 to make my own Grim Leafer.💀

@LiquidDeath Dude why is there stevia in the 12oz cans? I got a 6 pack of Cherry Obituary because the shop I usually go to was out of the 19.2 oz 8 packs. Trying to figure out why it tasted off and saw that. Please say you’re not adding stevia to all the flavored waters 😭
