The goal of bunting should be a hit or at least putting pressure on defense to make a difficult play not to give up an out.

Most important aspect of consistent, successful bunting is the stance. Step one in the stance sets the body up for success or failure. Details matter.

One of the biggest mistakes bunters make is trying to adjust to the pitch by moving the bat instead of moving the body. More bat movement leads to less successful bunts

@TheDataCage Contact point on the ball determines if ball is popped up- bat angle doesn’t matter. If you bunt bottom of ball, ball is going up.

If you must bunt, avoid pop ups by having a high VERTICAL BAT ANGLE. It’s literally impossible to pop up a bunt with high VBA
