Yep! And we were super happy and healthy; we only had to take three shots- IF our parents approved; autism, obesity, mental illness and childhood chronic diseases were virtually nonexistent; TV was almost exclusively for Saturday morning cartoons; we were not confused about our gender and if a drag queen had attempted to tell us stories our fathers would have beat them to a pulp; chicken soup, rest, and hot toddies were our medicine; fast food was a rare treat; we were rewarded for achievement rather that participation; we respected our elders; we said the Pledge of Allegiance every morning at school and said our prayers before bed. I think we turned out ok.
