To the intern running this X account— you’ll note that we did not put your response in quotation marks. That’s called, “paraphrasing”. When you wrote back to us suggesting that we “reduce the scope of [our] request” while referring to our request for a mere 3 day itinerary as “substantive” we appropriately paraphrased on for fellow X users that our request was too burdensome. We then published your full response as well as our full request onto our show for public to read themselves. Glad to see you are actually capable of respond “rapidly” to smear people that won’t let go of Charlie Kirk’s death. Do you mind utilizing a similar speed to get Tyler Robinson’s defense team the documents they’ve been requesting and which have mysteriously been in your possession since September? Thanks in advance, Chief.

Dear @RealCandaceO Please show us on the document sent to you ACKNOWLEDGING your FOIA request where we said: “The burden of the request is too great.”🤔🤔 Your “show” just like the fake news media will be called out when you LIE! We hope this helps.

This is why I called it a logic problem… I know you never claimed Candace “never tells the truth.” Juanita did. My point is that you’re still using this incident as evidence that Candace is generally deceptive. Even if “denied” was the wrong word, that doesn’t automatically transform a clarification into a lie. Ironically, most common-sense people would view publicly releasing the document, discussing it, and then clarifying your meaning as evidence of transparency, not deception. That’s the leap I’ve been talking about from the beginning.

@ImGinnyRobinson Agreed. Christ’s warning about causing “little ones” to stumble wasn’t limited to children. Scripture also speaks of those who are weak, vulnerable, or young in the faith. The damage done by false teachers and hypocrites often reaches far beyond themselves.

@bren45000 FOIA is a government transparency law. Requesting records about government activity is not the same thing as demanding access to private citizens’ lives. That’s literally what FOIA was created for.

Candace thinks she’s owed access to everyone’s entire life the second she gets suspicious. Her process: 1. “John Smith seems shady.” 2. I demand his texts, emails, search history, and medical records. 3. Refuse? Clearly guilty of the worst crimes imaginable. 4. Bow down — I’m the greatest investigator alive.

Also, since we’re correcting the record, Candace didn’t claim the FBI outright denied the request, nor did she hide the letter. She publicly discussed and showed the same letter on her show—the very one you’re citing. Her point was that the FBI invoked “unusual circumstances,” could not respond within the statutory 20-day timeframe, and suggested narrowing the scope of the request because it was too broad, expansive, or resource-intensive to process as submitted (i.e., too burdensome). You can disagree with that characterization. What you can’t logically do is jump from that dispute to “Candace lies about everything.” Those are entirely different arguments. We also tend to become far more technical about other people’s wording when we already dislike them, rather than objectively considering what they were trying to communicate.

@LenkaH93269895 @atensnut You’re responding to a different argument. Even assuming Candace was wrong to say “denied,” the conclusion that she therefore “never tells the truth” still does not follow from the evidence presented.

@RealCandaceO First they came for people I didn’t like, so I cheered. A citizen requests government records, a federal agency publicly mocks the requester, and people celebrate because they dislike the citizen. Somehow we’ve convinced ourselves Goliath is the hero of the story. 🤡

@SaraJane38340 No. They’re too busy mocking the requester on social media. The chilling effect won’t stop with Candace. It will affect every citizen who wants answers from their government.

@Ghostofcynthia A citizen requested government records. The FBI invoked a delay, mocked the requester, and still hasn’t produced the records… I’m still waiting for someone to explain who got “slapped.”

@catturd2 “Owned” is a strange word here… Candace requested government records. The FBI responded by publicly arguing with her on social media instead of producing the records… Not sure that’s the victory lap you think it is.

@DLoesch @1620Descendant Christians are called to bring people to Christ, not drive them away. If years of “taming your tongue” still leads to calling people swine online, perhaps the lesson hasn’t quite taken root.

@DLoesch If Donald Trump’s language never disqualified him from being embraced as a Christian by his supporters, then pretending Candace’s comment is where the line is feels less like biblical discernment and more like personal animosity.

@FBI_Response @RealCandaceO When a federal law enforcement agency publicly mocks a FOIA requester, it risks chilling other citizens from exercising their right to seek information from their government. FOIAAFO.

Via FOIA, we formally requested Kash Patel’s travel itinerary for the 3 days leading up to Charlie Kirk’s assassination and we just heard back and were told the burden of the request is too great. How is this even remotely legal?

@FBI_Response @RealCandaceO Sure it was delayed, not denied. But using an official federal law-enforcement account to accuse a citizen/journalist of lying while simultaneously claiming it lacks time to process the request just looks retaliatory, defensive, and hostile to public transparency.

@TPUSA Losing a husband is tragic. It is not a declaration of righteousness. “You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.” If a poor man commits fraud, his poverty does not make him righteous. Neither does widowhood.
