A small part of me can't trust this Alonso talk. I feel like if we officially start conversations, Liverpool will panic and hijack this deal, especially with growing fan unrest toward Slot. Liverpool fans might not let this happen. #Chelsea

IF Xabi takes that Chelsea job, lets get a few things clear... • They miss out on UCL, maybe all European spots - the best they can get is Europa. • If Brighton & Bournemouth win 1 more game, they miss ALL European comps • Both top end Talent & Youth talent will need to be sold to supplement the loss in income • Your transfer incomings will be limited by this • You're cut off at the knees with squad building ability If THAT is what Alonso sees promise in... What is Chelsea's plan B if Alonso doesn't work out? Iraola and Silva are not Chelsea standard. I think it should be Alonso or Fabregas and that's it. Put everything in those baskets and make it happen anyhow.

I think this summer Chelsea need to look at the RB position. Gusto is just not reliable if you want 10+ clean sheets in the league. If James will have more shifts in midfield, we need a top quality RB in the summer. #Chelsea
