A YouTube channel started approaching street vendors asking for their names, and the moment the vendor is muslim, the so call reporter started harassing people calling it “FOOD JIHAD”! What kind of nonsense is food jihad. This is a city/state that loves haleem, biryani, Irani chai, paya, kichidi kheema- the list is endless. The region thrived in perfect harmony for over 400 years. They fought oppression together, they prayed together and they broke bread together. That YouTube video repulsed me. The reporter harassed the street vendor to prove on camera that there is no “food jihad”! He had to eat his food while tears were flowing down because for the first time in his life, he is being told to prove that he has no plan to adulterate and harm his fellow brothers and sisters. The tears of the man should haunt any sane Telangana individual. I NEVER saw anything like this. What bothers me the most is not the insensitivity or agenda of a random YouTube channel but how @TelanganaCOPs is allowing this. They slap cases for retweets, arrest for public opinions- but here so much communal hatred is being spread and no action?
