It took me a long time to recognize that all governments are evil. When I realized that our country was in large part founded on the right to private property and that we cannot, in fact, own private property, that’s when it hit me. There is no place on earth where it’s possible.

I used to be entrenched in the left/right paradigm. The minute I stepped out of it, I realized how brainwashed both sides are. Many people are finally starting to see the bigger picture.

Well, we boomers grew up almost praying our car would even start. Having it shut down at traffic lights would have turned us insane. “Why the Hell would anyone want to turn their car off before they get to their destination?” It’s like, “why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane?”

Yes, and obviously he was aware it was an issue in his first term. This time we were told he’d learned his lesson. Ended up in yet another disaster. It’s about his affinity for making decisions with no second level thinking. The only one I still like (if he stays in his lane) is RFK.

When confronted by law enforcement, Alex Pretti should have immediately complied, kept his hands visible and away from his holster, and he had a duty to say he was carrying a concealed weapon. He would have been temporarily disarmed and probably not even arrested. Carrying a concealed weapon comes with responsibilities, especially during any interaction with the police.

I have a recommendation for all of the "ICE agents are brownshirts" people. Let them do their job. They'll leave you alone. They will. You don't have to get into a violent confrontation with them. It's actually pretty cool.

You have the right to peacefully protest. You do not have the right to obstruct law enforcement operations. With certain exceptions, you have the right to carry a firearm. You do not have the right to lay hands on law enforcement or resist arrest. If you obstruct law enforcement, lay hands on an officer, or resist arrest while carrying a firearm, you endanger the lives of law enforcement personnel and increase the likelihood of being met with lethal force. This isn’t complicated, though some on the Left and the Right with ulterior motives would like it to be.

Thought experiment: Have a discussion about politics with someone of different beliefs. Let them go first, explaining their beliefs. Now it’s your turn. Count the seconds until they dismiss facts and begin calling you names. That’s how long it takes to win an argument.
