Glory means honor, favor, influence. We like those things, but we don’t always realize there’s a weight that comes with favor, a weight that comes with influence. If you’re not prepared for it, the favor won’t be a blessing; it will be a burden.

What God has spoken over you will come to pass. There are some things, even if you don’t believe, God is still going to do. He is so merciful, so loving, that He’s going to override your unbelief and do things that you never dreamed.

To see promises come to pass, you have to keep traveling steadily. You have to do the right thing when nobody is watching; you have to be your best when you’re not getting the credit; you have to thank God even though doors aren’t opening.

God never promised things would turn around instantly and come to pass in two weeks. Sometimes, there will be a waiting period. Don’t be impatient; God rewards faithful people that keep doing the right thing.

Quit telling yourself, “I can’t do this. It’s too early; it’s too hard. I’ve had too many setbacks.” You can do what you want to do. Don’t miss your destiny because you didn’t want it bad enough.
