@ArmchairW I always wonder why the russian side doesn't show too much gore footage compared to ukraine, its not like they don't inflict high casualties or lack reccon/surveillance drones, i genuinely don't know the reason.

@riklaunim @BrewskiSven @DakdaR22 No you're wrong, russia do refurbish their older soviet stockpile tanks like T-64 and T-72 but the T-90 tanks and many modernised tanks like T-80M and T-72BM saw a significant production output and their stockpile of modernised tanks did indeed increase compared to pre war levels

@BrewskiSven @DakdaR22 They don't; they had to scrape stockpiles for older and older models, and on the current battlefield in Ukraine, using mass tank/armored vehicle formations has become a no-no due to drones and artillery. Both sides had heavy losses when they tried to.

@SU_57R seeing how Ukrainian officials react to the failed counter attack suggest that SKALA suffered really high casualties but 52 KIA personnel from one single mechanized assault is way too high, maybe the footage are a combination from recent assault and older footages.

#UPDATE 🇷🇺🇺🇦 The Skala Battalion, the Ukrainian unit behind the counter-attack, has come out and claimed that their assault was actually successful and the footage Russia released was fake.
