PLATEAU CRISIS: IGP DISU UNDERTAKES OPERATIONAL VISIT, ORDERS SUSTAINED ACTION TO RESTORE PEACE The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has undertaken an operational visit to Plateau State following the recent attack in Angwan Rukuba Community, Nasarawa Gwong area of Jos North Local Government Area, which resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives. The IGP strongly condemned the attack and, upon arrival, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, to commiserate with him and the people of the State over the incident of March 29, 2026. He thereafter proceeded to Angwan Rukuba for an on-the-spot assessment of the affected community. The Inspector-General noted that upon receipt of the distress call, an immediate and robust operational response was activated. This included the deployment of the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Operations, DIG Usman Nadada, and the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Police Mobile Force, AIG Francis Iwu, alongside eight (8) units of the Police Mobile Force, the Special Intervention Squad, and other tactical and intelligence units. These operations were executed swiftly in collaboration with other security agencies, including the military. He further stated that the situation has been significantly de-escalated through coordinated security operations and sustained engagements with the Local Government Chairman, community leaders, and youth groups. Security personnel remain strategically deployed to maintain law and order, while intensive intelligence-led operations are ongoing to identify and apprehend those responsible for the attack. The IGP emphasised that sustained operations will continue until normalcy is fully restored. He also warned youths in Jos against taking the law into their own hands, stressing that any form of reprisal or vigilantism would only escalate tensions and undermine ongoing peace efforts. In his remarks, the Executive Governor of Plateau State commended the Nigeria Police Force for its prompt response, particularly acknowledging the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Plateau State Command, CP Bassey Ewah, and the decisive role of the Police Mobile Force in containing the crisis. The Governor, however, highlighted the need for structural improvements in security management, including the establishment of State Police to enhance operational efficiency. He also underscored the importance of modern policing tools, recommending the acquisition of night surveillance drones with infrared capabilities to strengthen security operations. Emphasising the critical role of intelligence, the Governor called on the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) and the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) to intensify intelligence-gathering efforts. He further pledged continued support for the Nigeria Police through the provision of logistics, while noting that challenges such as vast terrain, manpower demands, and the distance between armouries remain significant factors affecting effective security coverage. The Inspector-General assured that he will brief the President and Commander-in-Chief on the current security situation as part of ongoing national security coordination efforts. He called on residents to remain calm, vigilant, and law-abiding, and to support security agencies with credible information to aid ongoing operations. The Nigeria Police Force reiterates its unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property across the country. I will repeat: there is no shadow of a doubt that Western Europe is marching toward a civil war between Muslims and non-Muslims that will last for many generations or centuries.

FACT Another little known fact about the Palestinians and their penchant for inhumanity was the infamous Damour massacre in January 1976. Having been kicked out of Jordan in the 1970’s for trying but failing to overthrow Jordan’s government, they found themselves in Lebanon where for several years they committed atrocities against Lebanese Christians Maronites and Druze . This culminated in the Damour massacre when Palestinians waited for the men of this Christian village to leave for work leaving just the elderly, women and children. Palestinian terrorists then attacked the village , raping women , beheading children in front of their mothers , ripping out unborn babies from pregnant mothers , performing necrophilia , making family members watch as other family members were summarily executed. Thousands of innocent Christians were slaughtered and the BBC never reported the massacre given their pro Palestinian agenda . October 7th was simply a repeat performance of Damour . The Palestinians are and always have been morally indecent in their lust for power . They are the Nazis of the Middle East who have brought nothing but misery to all who live near them . And loved by those who hate Jews .

Gunmen suspected to be bandits on Thursday evening opened fire on the convoy of the Chief of Staff to the Zamfara State Governor, Alhaji Mouktar Lugga, along the Funtua–Gusau highway. The incident occurred at about 6:16 p.m. near Kucheri village while Lugga was returning to Gusau from an official engagement.

The Jos massacres reportedly took place next to a police station and yet, not a shot was fired at the bloodthirsty killers who took the lives of dozens of innocent Christians. Also, Alex, an American missionary, traveled a long distance to arrive the scene even before the police who were said to be inches away from the crime scene, arrived. There’s a top to bottom command and control structure that’s carefully overseeing the genocidal elimination of Nigerian Christians in real time. This is absolutely reprehensible and hard to believe, but it’s Gaza we are led to believe is more important on mainstream media. @Reuters and @nytimes would rather report on ‘Gaza genocide’ than even admit that an actual genocide against Christians is taking place in Nigeria. Thank God for Alex. He has become the face of courage and raw passion in the midst of fear and hopelessness. @POTUS @JDVance @SecRubio @SecWar @RepRileyMoore @TomColeOK04 @RepFranklin @HouseAppropsGOP @DeptofWar @StateDept @foxandfriends @FoxNews @foxnewspolitics @FaulknerFocus

As commendable as statements like this are, they miss the drastic measures required to check this unprecedented terrorism that seems to have vested & continues to “trouble” Nigeria to no end. Calling for American military action misses the reality that - if one military action neutralizes one terrorist/group, another (even more lethal & enduring) will quickly take its place. And continuing to issue threats/condemnations, without real actions, run the risk of turning the threats to mere diplomatic platitudes. So, as it stands, the more sustainable & bankable solution is to constructively engage those that have been proposing the prospects of a PARTITION. They’re the Nostradamus that saw tomorrow. They don’t deserve persecution & life imprisonment. They deserve respect, instead. Think of the partition of India & Pakistan in 1947. It saved millions of lives that would’ve been lost to religious extremism/terror all in the name of chasing some notion of “unity” that was doomed to be an utopia of deadly proportions. Share until it gets to @RepRileyMoore & @realDonaldTrump.

Myself and other concerned Nigerians walked into the scenes of the attacks and nothing could have prepared our hearts for what we saw The ground cried louder than the people Every step we took was on blood Not because we wanted to but because innocent lives had been poured out like water before our eyes We stood with the people of Angwan Rukuba Their cries pierced the heavens Mothers wailing Fathers broken Young men standing in shock not knowing whether to scream or to collapse We tried to speak but our voices trembled How do you comfort people standing in the middle of such pain From there we rushed to Jos University Teaching Hospital The sight there was even more heartbreaking Bodies torn Lives hanging by a thread Eyes filled with fear and silent questions We held their hands We prayed We cried with them One man looked at us Shot by a gun His face brutally cut open by a machete Blood still fresh Pain written all over him Yet he was still breathing Still hoping Still fighting to live From there we went to the morgue Brethren what we saw there cannot be explained Cold bodies lined up Lifeless Silent Men women children People who had dreams yesterday People who laughed just hours before Now gone The air was heavy Our hearts shattered Tears refused to stop Brethren how long will this continue? How long will innocent blood keep crying from the ground It is time to wake up It is time to rise May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace Amen
