Our friend @samsonsjustice has created a petition demanding full prosecution in the animal cruelty case involving Ashley McFadden and Timothy Brockman. According to reports, more than 80 dogs were rescued from inhumane conditions, while over 100 were found dead. These animals were confined without food, water, or proper shelter...conditions that caused severe and prolonged suffering. Snoopy is still waiting for his forever home… and he’s already had a hard little life. 💔🐾 Available through Ace’s Place All Dog Rescue (fostered in Fort Worth). This 4-year-old, 10lb Shih Tzu/Maltese mix keeps getting his heart broken. Families have committed to him, packed bags and all, then backed out hours before pickup. He’s been let down over and over, through no fault of his own. 💔 Snoopy bonds deeply. He’s a true lapdog who just wants quiet companionship, curling up beside you while you work, sleeping in your bed, giving soft kisses, carrying around his favorite toy. He’s been through a lot and is still building confidence. He has some separation anxiety and is doing great on affordable daily Prozac, mild car anxiety, and needs a calm, patient, adult-only home. No big dogs or cats. Small dogs are fine, he mostly coexists. He’s not for everyone. But for the right person, he’ll be everything. Loyal. Devoted. The kind of dog who chooses you every single day. 🩷

⚖️ JUSTICE FOR MIRACLE⚖️ This week, Judge Ronald Giles of the 36th District Court dismissed all charges against Darnell Lamar Robinson in the case of a dog named Miracle, despite overwhelming evidence of severe neglect. On January 30th, authorities responded to a call reporting a “deceased dog on premises.” When the Detroit Police Department arrived, they discovered Miracle was not dead, but barely alive. Officers rushed her to a veterinary hospital, where she received hours of intensive care before being transferred to a 24-hour emergency facility. She fought for her life for three days before she was stable enough to be discharged. Two licensed veterinarians, from two separate hospitals, documented that Miracle’s condition was the direct result of starvation and prolonged exposure to freezing Detroit temperatures. She had no underlying medical condition that caused her suffering. The medical evidence was clear. Yet Judge Giles ruled there was a “lack of evidence,” and the charges were dismissed. This ruling sends a devastating message about accountability in cases of severe animal neglect. Miracle survived, but justice did not. 📢 Now is the time for respectful but firm civic engagement.
