@kurtbuhler Such a great article. Am I right in thinking of you hide a report specific measure eg for conditional formatting then you can't see the measure when you need it? My recollection is you have to use it before you hide it which can be a pain if working with thin reports

Besides the points covered in the planning an enterprise deployment white paper, do I recall some other issues and limitations of using the MS Store version of Power BI Desktop? (e.g. with external tools). I'm sure there's a reason I avoid the store version but can't recall why.

@JayPowerBI @JohannesVink @Ko_Ver @intoleranse There is hope. #ChatGPT is confused about the meaning of "surrogate key", but renaming "slowly changing dimension" in "evolving dimension" is a brilliant idea. Much better than other hallucinated marketing inventions I have seen.

So dbt has a function to generate surrogate keys, and it seems it combines a couple of columns that you provide, and hashes those into a key. Which I guess is completely against the definition of a surrogate key.
