Anyone who believes the bible was used to enslave his continent has to be one of the dumbest dudes to walk the planet The Bible was not used to enslave Africa. Slave traders used selective misreadings of the Bible to justify what they had already decided to do for economic reasons. There is a difference. A big one. Slavery existed in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Arab world thousands of years before Christianity arrived on the continent. The Transatlantic Slave Trade was not a Bible project. It was a capital project. The same Bible that slaveholders quoted was the primary weapon abolitionists used to end slavery. Wilberforce, a devout Christian, spent 20 years in Parliament fighting to abolish the trade. Harriet Tubman, an enslaved woman, used her faith as fuel to free hundreds. The most prominent voices against colonialism and slavery in the 18th and 19th century were not atheists or traditionalists. They were Christians, many of them African Christians, who read the same Bible and concluded that slavery was an abomination before God. If the Bible enslaved Africa, what do you do with the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, which has held the Christian faith since Acts 8, centuries before Europe was Christianized? Did Ethiopia enslave itself? Did the Bible oppress Axum? The logic of “the colonizers brought it, so it must be a tool of colonization” does not survive contact with history. The colonizers also brought Western medicine, railways, and the English language. What actually oppressed Africa was not a book. It was guns, ships, economic incentives, political betrayal by local collaborators, and a global system designed to extract. The Bible was the costume worn by that system, not the engine driving it. If someone uses a hammer to commit murder, the hammer is not a murder weapon. It is a tool that was misused. You do not throw away every hammer in existence. You hold the man accountable. Hold the slaveholders accountable, not the scriptures they twisted. Rejecting the Bible because Europeans misused it is doing exactly what they want, surrendering your own ability to encounter truth because of what someone else did with it. That is not decolonization. That is just a different kind of intellectual captivity. This is 2026, stop all this nonsense takes. Read or just admit you prefer idol worshipping to the bible and stay there.

Article 13 of the Iranian Constitution explicitly designates Christians as a recognized and protected religious minority. Article 64 guarantees Christians three reserved seats in the Iranian Parliament. Israel has zero laws or constitutional protections for Christians.

Your Excellency, allow us to comment on this post in which we are of the view that it has missed a few important chapters of international law: 1. Aggression originates from the U.S. and the Israeli regime use of regional water, air and land territories: Based on Article 3(f) of the UN General Assembly Resolution 3314 (XXIX) (Definition of Aggression, 14 December 1974), “The action of a State in allowing its territory, which it has placed at the disposal of another State, to be used by that other State for perpetrating an act of aggression against a third State” constitutes aggression. For months, we had warned neighboring countries—particularly those along the Persian Gulf—that any aggression from their soil against Iran would be met with our inherent right to self‑defense. Despite their denials, numerous attacks against Iran have been launched from U.S. bases in these countries, a small example being the downing of three military aircraft in Kuwait. 2. Violation of Article 2(4) of the UN Charter: The United States and the Israeli regime have violated Article 2(4) , which requires all Members to “refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state.” Their military aggression against Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is the root cause of the current crisis. 3. Iran’s response is lawful, legitimate self‑defense: Our response has been strictly in exercise of our inherent right to self‑defense, consistent with international law and the principles of proportionality, necessity, and discrimination. Operations have targeted only military bases and assets of the aggressors. After these military installations were struck, enemy military personnel and forces fled into hotels and civilian centers, taking innocent civilians as hostages—a gross violation of the law of armed conflict. 4. The Strait of Hormuz: prior freedom of navigation & current restrictions: Before the U.S.‑Israeli regime military aggression against Iran’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, the Strait of Hormuz was open to all countries. Any current disruption to Persian Gulf security or maritime traffic is a direct consequence of that aggression, and full responsibility lies with the aggressors. As the coastal state, Iran has introduced necessary restrictions to ensure safe passage. Vessels belonging to non‑belligerent countries may conduct innocent passage in coordination with Iran. Clearly, vessels of belligerent parties—especially the U.S. and the terrorist Israeli regime, as well as those serving their interests—cannot use this waterway. 5. Call on all free and independent nations: The Islamic Republic of Iran expects all free and independent nations to stand on the right side of history and condemn the aggressors. We reaffirm our readiness for diplomatic solutions based on mutual respect and international law, but will not hesitate to defend our sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security. Thank you Excellency for paying due consideration the the above facts.

I have always advocated for doing the right thing. During my time working in the environment i kept engaging peopleon the importanceof a clean and healthy environment as well as the importance of our natural resources, I consistently stood for protecting our natural systems. The time has come to fix this problem once and for all. It does not matter who the developer is if an illegality has been committed, the law must take its course. Any structures obstructing natural water flow should be removed to allow the waters to pass as they should. Illegal structures along the drainage systems must be removed with immediate effect. This is for your own good .

ODM people celebrating the victory of UDA in the ODM stronghold of Kakamega have unwittingly validated three points; 1. That as suspected, they are NOT looking for a coalition with UDA, but they desire to join UDA. Which brings forth what @edwinsifuna and @HEBabuOwino have been saying; that @DrOburu_O should lead his small caravan to UDA and hand over the party to real ODM people. 2. That the only place UDA is ever going to give way to ODM in these by-elections is in Luoland. And only in the interim period. You don't need science to therefore understand that State House now fully sees ODM merely as a Luo operation. Even that zoning talk is in reference to Luo land only. It is your first sign that UDA doesn't take seriously those ODM "demands" and "negotiations" because the ODM broad-based faction now exercises influence only in the general area between Homa Bay Fish Market and those two anthills near Ogande Girls. 3. The naivety of people like Fernandes Barasa @BarasaFernandes thinking that he can help UDA take over any available seat in Kakamega, but they'll stay away from his gubernatorial seat is the reason books have been written on mental health. A sage once said that once you allow a hyena into the goat shed, you can't also choose for it which ones to eat. But any political deal where one party seeks to expand it reach consistently, while the other enthusiastically capitulates towards the ant hills of Ogande, while strangely celebrating this capitulation, is a mental health case study. Raila's spirit will intervene soon.
