Trump called Iranian offers "TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE" on May 10.. threatened a "big hit" if no deal came through.. and now JD Vance is telling reporters "we're in a pretty good spot".. the Strait of Hormuz is still the pressure point.. a deal reopens it.. a failed deal means renewed strikes.. and the difference between those two outcomes is whatever happens in the next 30 days.. in 1973 oil moved the same way on ceasefire rumors before the embargo hit anyway.. nobody has a playbook for what $97 oil does if the deal falls apart.
