@gimm3dal00t_DFS @brodo_baggins1 I don’t think itll go up nearly at all, and if they lose game 4 it’ll drop way more than it’ll go up if they sweep. best bet is wait for game to end tonight and cash in my opinion

@TheBacc20 @tejfbanalytics they weren’t drafted as high. Aaron a first rounder so more accurate for him but the recent craze of drafting a QB to bench behind a vet comes from Mahomes

Everyone will say this but I want to say it too: This is part of the reason why the Ty Simpson pick is so confusing. One of the advantages of drafting a quarterback is the insane surplus value you get from their on field production vs what they’re counting against the cap. The Rams will have at least two seasons of that where they are also paying high end quarterback money as well. Couple that with not having a player like Bain, Lemon etc for these last two years with Stafford. Usually on team “Take the Quarterback” but this is such a unique case!

Rams, QB Matthew Stafford agree to one-year, $55M extension worth up to $60M. (via @AdamSchefter)

@NetScrape_Ltd @JaguarGator9NFL that’s what I was saying. he was an awful batter. he knows the pitches better than an average person, he’s watched infinitely more film to know, trained more to react faster, and he still sucked at hitting. the average person wouldn’t even react fast enough to swing 100 times

@bwettybear @JaguarGator9NFL Colon was comically bad at hitting, even by pitcher standards. Genuinely he may be one of the worst batters in MLB history Also you don't need to get a home run, you just need to make contact.

Also, unless you’re going down the middle every time, no player is going to hit the target 100 times out of 100 on penalties You have no chance at stopping Henry You have no chance at getting by Wemby You may get lucky and foul tip something off Skenes by pure luck You are the least athletic person in the world if you go 0-for-100 stopping penalty kicks

@NetScrape_Ltd @JaguarGator9NFL further proves the point. a guy who spent his entire career throwing the pitches we’re talking about didn’t hit a home run until he was almost 43. why would a a normal person be able to even touch the ball if an MLB pitcher isn’t even good at it

@the_rice_kid @JaguarGator9NFL even if it’s just fastballs there’s not a chance. they’re faster from pitcher to plate than a blink. an average joe wouldn’t be able to swing the bat, and definitely wouldn’t be able to process where to swing. still less likely than a lifeless body trip of Henry imo

@bwettybear @JaguarGator9NFL All its asking is make contact so it really doesn't seem too hard, obviously its extremely difficult but 100 pitches? Just contact? Anyone with some baseball experience should be able to do it

Victor Wembanyama had to eat high-protein meat meals inside a hidden sprinter van while training at the Shaolin Temple, per @ramonashelburne 😭 "But several times a day his team arranged for a sprinter van to pull into the monastery, pick up Wembanyama and drive him outside the walls of the temple, where someone would deliver a high-protein meal from a local restaurant. He would eat it inside the sprinter van, dispose of any remaining meat, then be driven back inside the temple." (espn.com/nba/story/_/id…)

@FranzBacke @clprfn @TheNBABase @ramonashelburne you realize how much skill it takes to shoot from 3 with long arms? when you release a ball it’s probably about 6 inches from your head, when Wemby shoots it’s about 2 feet from his head this so called “only skill being height” requires him to have so much extra skill

@FranzBacke @clprfn @TheNBABase @ramonashelburne because it’s not the SINGULAR factor. like I said at 6’5 he’s still a top 20 player. there have been many 7’2+ players but none of them have been even near this good. being tall raises the floor for NBA players, but to be at the ceiling takes immense skill. Wemby has that skill

@bwettybear @clprfn @TheNBABase @ramonashelburne Again, I think Wemby is incredible and we are very unlikely to see someone else like him in our lifetime. I just don't get why we act like his height isn't the singular factor that distinguishes him.

@FranzBacke @clprfn @TheNBABase @ramonashelburne that’s just not true. the fact Wemby in a 6’5 body would just be a Scottie Barnes level player is what makes him so insane. his extra foot of height is what takes him from All Star Starter to best in the world because that talent at that height is unheard of

@clprfn @TheNBABase @ramonashelburne The probability of making the NBA at that height is insane because height is such an advantage in the game of basketball; that the few before him had very little skill or talent is unsurprising and not an accomplishment. Wemby in a 6-5 body is unremarkable.

@_THE_REID_ @ZMowlcher @VoughtCrave it is The Boys. Invincible strayed from the comics, every MCU or DC film and show strayed. why tell the same story that’s been told already, especially when it wasn’t a great story to begin with. The Boys is a concept not commandments

Eric Kripke on why they knew early on they wouldn’t be adapting the infamous Black Noir twist: “In the comics, [Black Noir is] a clone of Homelander this entire time and is actually the one doing all these horrific things. And again, it's a hell of a twist. But it's like, ‘well, wait, the villain I've been following isn't really the villain?’ And mileage varies, and I'm sure fans are mad I'm not going that way, but that felt not as satisfying to me. I'm like, if I'm going to follow this villain, I want this guy to be the villain. So, I was never really into the clone idea."

@_THE_REID_ @ZMowlcher @VoughtCrave yes, they changed the story. its an adaptation no, its not something entirely. it’s an adaptation of The Boys. comics are never 1 to 1 and there’s a reason The Boys aren’t a well known comic before the show. the story sucked
