First they have to drop a mount at around $500 mark as a middle step. They can’t be too hasty, remember. We’ve already swallowed a $80 long boi, but that doesn’t mean we are ready for $1000.
They have to ease us into it, gently. Stretch our tolerance just enough so we take tad more without complaining but not too much so we don’t burst.

I've launched a free web app which perfectly optimises images for websites. It's privacy-first. It's user-first. (And, to be fair, kind of cute... 🙂)
I was frustrated with the existing options which were overly complicated and bloated with features that I didn't need.
So, I built it one for myself and called it "The Image Optimizer". I know. Not very creative, but I wanted to keep it simplistic to the bone. It's all in the name.
Drag. Drop. Wait. Download.
While you wait, TIO looks at your image, checks the contents - screenshot, photo, diagram, etc - and adjusts the compression levels to have the best of both worlds - high quality and small size. It also converts it to a modern image format if it helps with the outcome.
Recently, I've posted it on Product Hunt. If you like the idea, please consider upvoting it for me.

For those who don’t know, LFG London (@lfgwowevent) is something we started back in 2024, and it’s now coming back again this May 2026.
It’s not an event built around me or “my” community. It’s something we run with a small team for the entire World of Warcraft community. The whole idea from day one was to create a space where guilds, communities and players could meet up, hang out and just spend time together outside the game.
That’s what we’ve always tried to protect, and it’s been really cool seeing it grow each year into something bigger. It’s genuinely become a place where EU communities plan their yearly meetups, which is kind of wild to think about.
This year we’ve moved into a bigger venue, which has meant sourcing a lot more of the equipment ourselves. It’s definitely been a new challenge, but a really good learning curve, and we’re finally getting into the final stages of planning now. The full stage and stream schedule is locked in, it’s just putting the finishing touches on everything. We’re planning for 300+ people attending this year, and we’ve already sold over 220 tickets with more still available.
If you’ve been before, you know what it’s like. If not, just know it’s there.
Tickets are up if you’re interested: eventbrite.co.uk/e/lfg-london-2…

@WarcraftMeme Yeah. When you deal with issue on a smaller scale, your contributions feel more meaningful. I miss that too.

If your WoW stream numbers feel a bit lower over the next couple of weeks, you’re not doing anything wrong.
Race to World First is kicking off and a lot of viewers naturally drift over to watch it. It happens every time. It’s only temporary, and your numbers will likely return to normal once the race wraps up in a couple of weeks
