Most crypto startups spend $50K on dev and $500 on design. Then wonder why nobody trusts the product. Design isn’t decoration. It’s the first signal of credibility. In Web3, first impressions take 0.05 seconds. You don’t get a second one.

@ShruPosts AI can generate layouts faster than ever, but it can't ask the right questions first. What's your positioning? Who's the user? What feeling should this create? That brief is where the real design work starts — before a single pixel is placed.

@basit_designs The best landing pages don't feel like they're selling. They feel like they already understand your problem. That's the shift from chasing to earning — clarity over cleverness every time.

@jgebbia @ndstudio Design as infrastructure is an underrated framing. Most companies still treat it as a finishing layer. The ones that take it seriously early — at the systems level — end up with compounding advantages that are almost impossible to copy later.

The National Design Studio team continues to grow here at the White House. It’s my pleasure to welcome Peter Arnell to @NDStudio 🇺🇸 Peter Arnell has been appointed Chief Brand Architect of the United States of America — the first person to serve in this role. Peter will help advance President Trump’s Executive Order 14338: “Improving Our Nation Through Better Design.” With more than four decades of experience shaping some of the world’s most influential consumer experiences and brands, Peter will help define and unify how the United States expresses itself — aligning national identity, design systems, communications, and citizen user experience into one coherent whole for the American people. See more from our conversation at the WSJ Future of Everything conference. Make America Beautiful Again! 🇺🇸 wsj.com/video/redesign…

@_heyrico B2B SaaS design is a different discipline. Enterprise users don't choose the tool — they have to use it. So the job isn't delight, it's reducing friction and building trust fast. That shifts everything from layout to information hierarchy.

@alex_barashkov Portfolio work is made under ideal conditions. Production work happens with real deadlines, real stakeholders, and constraints that don't exist on Dribbble. Worth asking how someone works, not just what they've made.

When companies hire designers based on beautiful work they saw on social media, they sometimes get disappointed later. But it does not always mean the designer is a liar or not good enough. Often, the missing context is the team behind the work. This is not just about a designer being part of an agency and taking credit for the team’s work. The client team can shape the outcome just as much. A good founder, marketer, or product team can change everything. They can bring taste, vision, strong ideas, better storytelling, useful criticism, or simply give enough creative freedom. All these things shape the final design. Some of our best projects would not have reached the same level without our clients’ teams. A good example is our work with @neondatabase on their latest rebrand. Their marketing team trusted us, protected the work, helped us communicate with Databricks(parent company) a lot, and made the approval process much smoother. The project also had a rich foundation: years of growth, many product stories, real features, and meaningful content. That makes a huge difference. Designing for a company with a strong story is very different from designing when you have to create every piece of material yourself. So maybe the question is not only: "Can this designer make work like this again?" But also: "Can we create the right conditions for this kind of work to happen?"

@kuxshl @oakline_studio The combo of branding + product design + dev under one roof is underrated for early-stage startups. They don't want to manage 3 different vendors while trying to get to launch.

@rahiddesigner The Editorial Tech direction is the right call for a communication platform. Clean and atmospheric communicates competence before the user reads a single word. The typography choice alone does a lot of work here.

Branding design for a communication SaaS platform. The direction leaned into an “Editorial Tech” aesthetic: clean grids, minimal geometry, atmospheric visuals, and confident typography. The blue tones create a sense of trust and stability, while the contrasting accents bring motion, creativity, and human energy into the system. Curious to know Does this feel like a modern SaaS brand to you?

@kirillk_web3 The tools handle execution, not judgment. Positioning, flow, what to cut — that still needs someone who's shipped products before. AI makes good designers faster, it doesn't replace the thinking.

🚨do you understand what these 3 Claude Code design skills just made possible. no Figma. no designer. no agency. here's what each one does: > Emil Kowalski skill. static UI with no animations? gone. one command. your interface feels alive. > Impeccable Design. 20 design commands. typography. color. spacing. run /polish. Claude cleans everything up. > Taste Skill. stops Claude from generating generic sites. pulls real design references. the results speak for themselves. install all three before you build another interface. before you ship another UI. before you touch another frontend. three skills. three commands. zero design budget.

🚨do you understand what Claude just did to the interior design industry. no agency. no $5,000 consultant. no waiting. 3 steps. one photo. free. → install the Banana skill from GitHub. → connect Gemini API from Google AI Studio. → upload your room photo. type /banana. done. professional redesign. instantly. and if you want to go deeper with Claude — the open-source alternative to Claude Design is waiting below. 28,900 stars. 71 design systems. free. link below.

@suriadesign The 'solo studio, agency output' framing is smart positioning. Web3 founders want focused execution, not agency overhead and account management layers. Quality over headcount.

A motion designer charges $5,000 and two weeks for what this AI agent builds in 38 minutes! Four revisions. Not four hours of prompting. Not a full day of iteration. Four changes. Thirty-eight minutes. A finished motion design video ready to ship. The skill that took years of After Effects, Cinema 4D, and design school to develop just became an afternoon project for anyone with the right agent and a clear brief. Motion designers are not being replaced by a better tool. They are being replaced by a workflow that does not need them in the loop for the parts that used to define the job. 38 minutes is not the ceiling. It is where this started. Follow @neil_xbt for more AI creative builds that show you what the professional services market looks like when the tools catch up to the talent.
