Honestly, I can survive with the 256 model but as time goes on, swap memory could pose a problem if too much storage is taken up by other applications or files.
The 512 model does offer a nice buffer.
But, I really haven’t had any trouble with the 256 model at all but I use it in the strictest sense of casual use.

It is very important not to fill up the storage drive on the new MacBook Neo. It can cause the computer to chug and slow down significantly. Especially, if a person tends to push resources and use swap memory, it might even cause a crash if the storage is too full.
Remember, swap memory, if used, will consume storage on the MacBook 💻Neo's drive.
As you can see on my Neo, I don't use very much storage at all. That is a good place to be.

A friend asked me what tools I use to manage my projects. He expected apps like Notion, Airtable, Linear, he even mentioned Jira (ew).
It’s Apple Notes. It always is.
Those links in my bio… all those projects started with me writing stuff down in Apple Notes. Once the project is live, all feature requests, notes, and todos still live in there.
No project management tool with a kanban board and 6 integrations. Just folders, todos, checklists, and plain text. It works better than anything else I’ve tried, it costs $0, and it syncs across devices.
