we’re building the real-life Baymax. a lot of the investors we meet and friends we talk to draw the same conclusion about what we’re building w/ @twolabsai our end goal is to build a socially intelligent humanoid robot that can take care of the elderly and people with disabilities most humanoids these days are focused on the robot to environment interaction layer but overlooking the human to robot interaction layer (HRI) excited for updates the next few weeks.

Announcing Cofounder 2: Run an entire company with agents. It's the infrastructure for the one person billion dollar company - orchestrating agents across engineering, sales, marketing, ops, and design. (and yes that's my real grandma in the video)

announcement: we’re backed by @a16z @speedrun! a few months ago, i walked away from my $500K ARR business and moved to san francisco. my best friends left behind jobs, colleges, and other startups. all for a crazy idea: build an AI caretaker for seniors. the journey has been crazy. we hit 1M views on demos, received support from doctors and researchers, and we’re getting hundreds of orders from families across the US. this started as a personal project for my grandma. i just wanted to build a device to keep her safe. but now, this has grown into something much bigger. we’re ready to tackle one of the world’s most important problems: getting seniors the care they deserve. right now, eldercare is unaffordable and inaccessible. we’re going to fix that. our team has the distribution ability to take eldercare hardware to the world. we’ve generated 7-figures across previous companies, published research cited by the mayo clinic, and worked for high-growth startups and fortune 100 consumer electronics companies… all before we turned 18. we are going to bring personalized, intelligent care to the world. this is just the beginning. back to building and shipping!

@bysardr I see. Funny that your Functional team history never shows you worked on any MSL team or made any significant diffs. All I see is RecSys - Training from Aug 25 to Nov 26 haha. All good bro. I get it.

After operating in stealth for the last 18 months @rhodaai , we’re excited today to finally show the world what we’ve been working on. We believe we’re on a path to physical AGI with the launch of our brand new foundation model, the Direct Video Action (DVA) model.

We won $40,000 at hackathons without writing a single line of code. A few months ago, that would’ve sounded ridiculous. Now it’s normal if the setup is good. The code wasn’t the hard part.
The hard part was giving the agent the right tools, the right context, and an environment it could actually work in. We spent most of the hackathon on the idea, the scope, and the setup. The code came after. @MongoDB was a big part of why we could iterate that fast. I’m going to write more about the setup behind this @oscrhong @_javokhir 🚀🚀
