Yesterday, Rev. Jesse Jackson passed away at the age of 84.
He was an inspiring civil rights leader and a staunch advocate for nuclear risk reduction. Nuclear disarmament was a central component of his 1984 presidential run, and he stated that, “we will choose the human race over the nuclear race.”
We will work to honor Jackson’s legacy with action to build a safer world.
