I know I’m tweeting this into the abyss here, but I feel like if developers spent a little more money on their street level appearance they would attract better commercial tenants, customers, and renters.

Republicans control all 3 branches of government. Democrats introduced 7 bills to fund TSA. Each one was blocked by Republicans.

This is such a perfect image. All the noise and bluster with massive spending behind it takes most of the attention while the fight for peace gets relegated to the background.

Medellín, Colombia dropped its city's warming temps by a whopping 4 degrees Fahrenheit. How? They created "green corridors" of trees and plants throughout the built city. It cost $6.50 per resident, and will save the city millions of dollars each year. We need more of this!

I just tried to fast track a bill to pay TSA workers NOW. Sadly, Republicans in DC keep blocking it. We all agree that TSA should be paid so what is the hold up? This is insanity.

@AtlantaBeltline Thank you for the transparency- we know all of the BeltLine employees among others disappointed by the misstep, though also grateful the item was caught and being addressed. Will be of value to know are costs captured by taxpayers or if the contractor will be absorbing. Thanks!!

Local journalists should dig into what went wrong. Bridge installed this past year appears to be faulty, must be deconstructed, then rebuilt. Who is at fault? Who is paying for the duplicate work? The BeltLine fumbled delivery, again, despite massive & increased budget 👀

@HowEPhil The poured concrete deck has been removed, and the bridge steel is being disassembled. There are no other bridges of this type on the corridor. Work on other portions of the segment continues, and the southern portion is expected to be open for use in late April. (2/3)

@HowEPhil Hi! The NWT1 suspension bridge crossing Peachtree Creek is currently being deconstructed by Reeves Young, following an issue that arose during a concrete deck pour. An independent engineering review identified matters requiring further evaluation + corrective action by RY. (1/3)
