@MCxinnovation Yes, please! Reynoldstown wants MARTA to do a TOD on their parking lots at the station!!! Ours sits idle far too often and would love more housing on their property!!
Similarly, would love housing at the city’s Rec Centers & parking lots!

@HowEPhil To really transform downtown, all of the city, county, and state agencies should consider building housing on their properties. Residential activation is needed for the life of cities.

@HowEPhil Trolley line trail is awesome and it's a great example of adaptive reuse. But for purely selfish reasons, it would be amazing to have so much direct access to all of the commercial development that came from those reimagine Memorial projects.

fun fact: this still happens in georgia. i know this bc my husband and I (we are childless by choice btw) routinely donate to clear student lunch debts bc @BrianKempGA is a USELESS monster who can’t protect or take care of children.
1 in 20 georgia students are in lunch debt.

As someone who grew up in the vast suburban sprawl of Atlanta, it's kind of shocking to think it might actually be turning into a dense city.
More cities should be doing highly dense infill - density actually helps keep the area outside the core green and open.
