I find the red button Blue button discourse amazingly stupid.
It's framed as a morality question, when it isn't. Pressing the blue button does not save anyone but cause the dilemma in the first place. There is no person who 'accidentally' pressed the blue button.

@inkfycreates The real reason is because gacha games are live service and will be updated every patch meanwhile standalone singleplayer games are one and done type of games. They are not comparable even if they are in the same genre

The issue is that those games aren't free and those people don't want to emulate either. They want Gachas (the games they care about) to mimick traditional single player experiences without understanding why Gachas are developed the way they are.
