So Christian governments have done a great job? Let's take a look at history: Taiping Rebellion (1850–1864): Often considered the deadliest religious war, a Christian movement led by Hong Xiuquan against the Qing Dynasty resulted in roughly 20 million deaths. Thirty Years' War (1618–1648): Begun as a conflict between Protestants and Catholics in the Holy Roman Empire. It killed 12 million people. The Crusades (1096–1291): A series of religious wars between Christian and Muslim armies for control of the Holy Land. They resulted in an estimated 3 million deaths. French Wars of Religion (1562–1598): A brutal series of campaigns, including the St. Bartholomew's Day massacre, fought between French Catholics and Protestants, resulting in 4 million deaths. Albigensian Crusade (1209–1229): A 20-year military campaign initiated by Pope Innocent III to eliminate Catharism in Southern France, resulting in up to 1 million deaths. That's 40 million murders in the name of Christianity so far. And let's not forget that the Transatlantic Slave Trade was totally run by Christian governments. Get off your "we know the truth and you're miserable because you don't agree with us" bullshit. Christians are just as fucked up as everyone else.
