@pcgamer Any dev or journo who thinks their audience is supposed to be "grateful" for anything in a COMMERCIAL INTERCHANGE that is game license transfer can and should discover the comfort of financial rock bottom. Take the fucking feedback, say "thank you" and make internal decisions.
English

'Any update is a bonus not a right': Peak devs snap back at ungrateful players demanding more updates, 'Neither us or Aggro Crab are live service studios' pcgamer.com/games/adventur…
English

@nubbiecakes @TheDezembro @pcgamer Also what is your arrow pointing at, idiot? "Make internal decisions"? Seriously? Are you SO dumb that yo cannot fucking get what it means? And you call me dipshit you illiterate monkey?
English

I did. The dev response is poor and unprofessional. Imagine for a second that it was said not by "small indie studio" (c) dev, but instead by a EA rep. This is how they react to positive feedback? "Shut the fuck up, you owe us"? Who cares, it's an indie darling, right? Go suck their dick or something, I dunno.
English

@chumbosity @EbianTheDog @pcgamer Eyes? Like yours? Cool. Take my tweet and point me in the text showing this. C'mon, I'm waiting. Underline it with red and mark it with: "Here is where this piece of shit is saying that devs of Peak must make free updates". You're so cool and not stupid, you'll manage.
English

@c_rastrelly @EbianTheDog @pcgamer in the world where they have eyes. are you stupid? you are a blue check so probably, but i want to know?
English

@bunnicage @TheDezembro @pcgamer They could monetize expansion if their game's so popular though. Understandable and good if they want to do something other. I was responding to a tweet though, haven't I? It did have a link to an article, yes, but still.
English

@c_rastrelly @TheDezembro @pcgamer they probably saw it in the article you responded to, and assumed your response to the article was responding to the article

English

@JurassicRabbit No, it's a useful tool for consumer-oriented transparency
English

Hmm, it seems I've indeed fell victim to clickbait, the situation in original tweet is overblown a lot in comparison to actual dev statement. It doesn't change the principle however. I did not imply any need for the devs to do any updates, and I don't get where people en-masse saw that in my tweet.
English

@c_rastrelly @TheDezembro @pcgamer it seems like youre losing your mind cause you didnt actually read the article youre responding to
English

@nubbiecakes @TheDezembro @pcgamer Sorry, what? If I were "literally" referencing UPDATE there would probably be the word "UPDATE" present, wouldn't it? Instead there is "COMMERCIAL INTERCHANGE" in ALL CAPS though, isn't it?
English

@c_rastrelly @TheDezembro @pcgamer based on the context of the tweet you replied to, you're literally referencing an update in the highlighted area.

English

I honestly don't see a reason for being either grateful or entitled. Post-launch support is normal, it drives additional sales. If devs decided to stop it - they could announce it in amicable manner without "snapping back". If players become unruly with their demands - there clearly are ways to handle it without animosity.
English

@c_rastrelly @TheDezembro @pcgamer If they don't need to make updates, it would make sense to be grateful for any updates they do decide to make.
English

@TheDezembro @pcgamer And you I'll ask this question: what words of my tweet imply that devs needed to make any updates to their game? Please, point me at those words. I think I'm losing my mind at this point.
English

You bought the game, the game has content.
Too many retards these days expect every game to be live service slop with multiple seasonal events, crossover events, yearly roadmaps and weekly updates with more garbage.
Some games have an end point. In fact, most should. Go buy another game, replay it, or idk, shut the fuck up. It's literally a 7,50€ game.
English

@EbianTheDog @pcgamer Okay, I am getting desperate. Where, how and in which world do people read my tweet and see a call for devs to bend over and make any updates whatsoever?
English

@c_rastrelly @pcgamer This game is already shipped its not a early access game any new update is never guaranteed. They can just take their money and go home if they wanted
English

@picodepablo3445 @pcgamer Explain to me as a child in which way I implied any entitlement on my side?
English

@c_rastrelly @pcgamer Holy shit you sound like an entitled child
English

@CarlosSaraiva17 @pcgamer Okay, you. You specifically. Do answer me: how did you read my tweet and discovered there a call for the devs to do something? Like, anything at all? What words of English language I typed imply I demand the devs produce any amount of work or actions?
English

@c_rastrelly @pcgamer You are such a toddler man. These people are human beings and exactly BECAUSE nobody forced them is why this discourse is stupid. Nobody asked them but they didnt promise it either. Grow up they already gave people quite a lot
English

@project_xed @pcgamer "Rightfully dogged". Wow. Next I s'pose it'll be "reasonably murdered"?
English

@c_rastrelly @pcgamer Mute the post because you are getting rightfully dogged on in the comments.
Good on you for being absolutely terrible at providing feedback, and just as bad at taking it.
English

@Fanofamillion @pcgamer Yes. Including antagonising their audience.
English

@c_rastrelly @pcgamer Under $10 game that wasn't sold as a live service game. They don't need to do shit
English

@kudarikirii Usually aristocracy officers order their uniforms for themselves, sometimes embellishing it in the process
English

@FromSoftCentral Really, why are all those stupid idiots don't want bloat- and spyware in their systems? Dumbasses!
English

Why do people get so riled up about drm?
The game should run on a toaster - isn't the performance hit negligible in this case?
Comicaze@marccomicaze
Its great that RE1-3 are on a mainstream storefront like steam, but whats unacceptable is that they alongside Dino Crisis 1-2 use Enigma DRM which tanks performance. Its not this way on GOG, so whats the point?? Remove this shit @CapcomUSA_ @capcom_official
