@BadSchoolparent @CostaCoffee What a strange post. Whacking on social media rather than just discussing this in person at the time is a really bizarre thing to do. It’s a perfectly reasonable question for them to ask.

In @costacoffee a motorway services. Order drink with oat milk - is that an allergy or a preference? - sorry? - is that an allergy or a preference? - sorry? You need my medical information to allow me to buy a drink? - it’s because of our sanitation….. ….not sure that helps.

Hey @cineworld I know it’s a weekday but there was no one at the food and drinks counter. Theres also no option in the app to order food unlike Odeon. This doesn’t feel like a customer first cinema experience.

@halilsfbtalk I literally never said that. I said that they had the best record in the NFL at the time (fact), that I thought they’d go further than the Rams team you were in love with (they did) and that I wouldn’t be at all surprise if Seattle won the lot. All this in November. Nailed it.

@ca_walters Dude, seriously, find a different hobby than going back on this. I did stand with the Rams, who literally were the one team that consistently was able to challenge Seattle & basically lost the division on a fluke 2-point play. You claimed that THESE Patriots were better than both

@halilsfbtalk This is just after timing. Entirety means the whole duration. You mean on the whole. You literally stood by Rams as the best team, with Seahawks as number 2, as now you’re using revisionism. It’s fine, just own it. Anyone can claim something after it happens.

@ca_walters No, if you look at the entirety of the NFL season, they were the best team, rather than saying they were the best team ALL season. And the Rams were right behind them. As I‘ve been saying they were the two teams standing above the rest since midway through the season.

@halilsfbtalk This makes even less sense. For them to have been the best team for the entirety of the season, they’d have been the best team at every single point of the season, which directly contradicts how in love with the Rams you were very late in the season.

@ca_walters Dude, you really waited for me to send this out when last time you commented, I also reiterated that I had the Rams and Seahawks as 1 and 2 in my rankings since before December and never wavered? And the postseason does still count, which is why I said ENTIRETY of the season. 🤦🏼‍♂️

@halilsfbtalk You also said that because Pats were 12/1 to win the Super Bowl in Vegas, they were pretty much out of the running to get there.

@ca_walters Actually, said this: "So who‘s the better team right now. I have no problem saying Seattle is #2 or that they might win the rematch at home, but you can‘t really give it to them right now, with how recent we say them head-to-head." And they were #2 in my following power rankings

@halilsfbtalk You actually said that Rams were clearly the best team in the NFL. Regardless of schedule, they didn’t make the Super Bowl. I never expected them to.

@ca_walters Good for you. I‘m not going to argue about how tough a road they‘ve had or how impressive their offense has been especially. I‘ll just say that I had Rams and Seahawks as my clear top two teams throughout almost the entire season. And I feel very good about that being correct.

@ca_walters Yes, after they had just won four games the season prior. I disagreed with that and predicted ten wins. And yet, I can say that even more of their success than I anticipated has been thanks to their quarterback, and in the playoffs they‘ll simply face better, more complete teams.

@halilsfbtalk Maye should win it. Plus, he’s currently 2/9 favourite with Stafford at 10/3.

@iamtomskinner What an egotistical post. To have the audacity to suggest that you being voted out of the show has had ramifications at the top end of the BBC is absolutely incredible. You’ve used yourself as a victim over the JD Vance thing over and over. You’re merely reaping what you sowed.

As most of you will have seen in the papers, I won’t be at the final of Strictly Come Dancing tonight. First thing I wanna say is this…. I spoke with my lovely dance partner, Amy Dowden to make sure she was okay with me not attending. She’s a good person and a good friend now, I’d never let her down. When I got given the opportunity to do Strictly back in April, I was buzzing. Not because I can dance…. I can’t. But because i really wanted to test myself and Learn something completely out of my comfort zone. On the night I left the show, I received an anonymous email claiming to be from a BBC exec with stats, saying I’d received far more votes than it appeared and it wasn’t right. I’ve since had the email independently verified. That same email mentioned the BBC was very angry an nervous simply because I had met JD Vance (USA VICE PRESIDENT). Let me be clear, I’m not a political bloke. Never have been. I just love my country and am patriotic. I’ve been made out by the press to be this political figure. If anyone was to get an opportunity like what I did, they would have taken it. I still think it is mad that a man like me who sells mattresses out of a van can call someone that senior in the world’s politics a friend now. I have asked to see the official voting figures to back up the ones I was sent in the email but was told they couldn’t be shown to me. And have never been shown in the history of the show. I have spoke about the email I had received to senior people and the BBC welfare team, who btw I genuinely respect. And they was the ones who advised me to get legal advice because of how unfair it all was. (This was not my idea) There were also smaller things that added to the feeling. Everyone received a welcome gift on the show….. skincare bits, face masks, that sort of thing. Mine was the only one that “Got Stolen” apparently. On its own, it’s nothing…. but added to everything else, it felt strange. I have been made out to be someone I actually am not simply because I took part in this show. The views were formed from media stories over the summer that simply wasn’t true or exaggerated. It ain’t fair what has happened to me and my family. I also want to say this carefully. After receiving this information and having it verified, a very senior BBC figure has since resigned. I’m not saying that had anything to do with me, but it did feel bizarre. Also the main hosts stepped down the following week. Again, I’m not saying it has anything to do with me. It’s just all very coincidental. I’m just being honest. I didn’t want any of this in the press either. A lot of what’s been written has been exaggerated or untrue about me and I’ve found it hard to take in over the past few months. This is my life, and it’s not nice what has been said about me if I’m honest. What I do find strange is that after a private Zoom call with BBC executives on Wednesday night about going forward, this was national news by Thursday morning. That tells me there’s been a leak. Because it ain’t come from me to be in the press. (It might be from the same person who sent me the email🤔) …..I didn’t want this to be national news, in fact I didn’t want any of this. But now I’m writing a statement so people know the truth as to why I’m not attending, I don’t want people thinking I am bitter when I ain’t. I don’t want more stories being wrote that ain’t true. I’m not kicking off for attention. I’m not saying I should’ve won either. I was rubbish at dancing😂 we all know that. But love me or hate me you do have to appreciate the massive following I have, I can’t even walk into the local Tesco without getting stopped for selfies. I just believe in fairness and respect. I wish every dancer tonight the very best. They’ve worked their socks off and they deserve their moment. As for me I’ve got fish to sell on my stall and a family I love more than anything. Thank you for the love as Always. Bosh❤️

@ca_walters No, the Rams have been for the last couple of weeks and they‘ve been top-five in odds since mid-October. Again, it‘s certainly not everything, but Vegas isn‘t making the Pats 12-to-1 because they like losing money. Lol

@halilsfbtalk I’m not sure it is. It changes relatively frequently. Until last week, Chiefs were favs for the SB. Rams will drift after today.

@halilsfbtalk I’m not basing my opinion on betting odds. I’m also not sure the NFC is better than the NFC. Not sure I’d say Bears are better than Pats. Nor would I say Rams are better than Broncos. I think it’s pretty evenly balanced.

@ca_walters It‘s possible, because they may just have that first weekend off and potentially be at home until they get to the Super Bowl, while the NFC playoff contenders are simply better, but head-up and in a matchup with any other team in the league, I‘m taking the Rams - and so is Vegas.

@ca_walters You‘re not wrong with any of this, other than the ultimate takeaway. As well as they‘ve performed as a team and deserve credit for it, they don‘t have single position group outside of QB and CB, that you‘d even call definitively above-average. (Along with IDL if they get healthy)

@halilsfbtalk They should have beaten Steelers. They had a total off day against the Raiders. It both were dead early in the season while adapting to a new HC. Not their fault that they’re playing ‘weak teams’. But the Rams just lost to the Panthers who also didn’t have a winning record.

@ca_walters Yes, and I don‘t like being *that* guy, because you can only play who‘s in front of you, but coming into today, the only winning teams they had beaten were the Bills & really banged up Bucs. They lost early to the Raiders & Steelers and won plenty of close games vs 7 losing teams

@ca_walters I just tweeted something out today how people called me insane for projecting NE to win 10 games this year. And yet, there‘s just NO WAY that roster is good enough around Maye. They‘re a bottom-3 rushing team and an average at best defense by most metrics. 17th in total DVOA.

@halilsfbtalk The best team right now is New England. That said, I think it’s more open this year than it’s been potentially at any point in the last 20 years. I’d be stunned if Rams win the Super Bowl. I wouldn’t be if Seattle did (though have huge doubts about Darnold when it matters).
