Dana White being adamant that Jon Jones was never going to be on the card makes zero sense, considering other UFC officials were negotiating and speaking with his team and lawyer. It’s simple — these comments are a hedge. They don’t want to come out and say they couldn’t deliver. It doesn’t make you look very good to the administration when you can’t deliver the top American star.
