@Jomelohju @jacksondreyer @alvarofberro It’s not about the noise, it’s about the craftsmanship and exclusivity. Rolls Royce is known for their v12, bmw or not. Consider why people aspire to wear Rolex or other mechanical watches but not digital watches. Craftsmanship and individuality matter most in luxury

@RHAPOPO The M2 is nearly perfect. I never loved the electronic steering although it livens up on track. Everything else was just plain awesome. That being said I did trade it for an AMG, I couldn’t say which is better just that they’re different

@keaganwernicke They’re often ugly, usually bland, and just don’t feel “alive” like IC cars do. I own a model Y, it’s a great car, but it’s not interesting in the way my gas cars are, and it’s not as good looking. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate EV’s, they just don’t have that X factor for me

@keaganwernicke The roadster is a lotus Elise with batteries in the floor. Space is inspiring. I like the cyber truck, but it can’t off-road. The new roadster is beautiful, the 0-60 won’t ever be as thrilling as a flat plane 8 cylinder. No right minded person calls an ev their dream car

All of these items are some of the blandest, most boring, most tasteless things imaginable. It’s actually the room surrounding the Apple Studio Display that makes it tasteful. It’s the outfit and personality of the wearer that make the Datejust stand out. The Porsche you chose has absolutely no soul or color, and the keyboard I don’t even want to get into. Everything you’ve laid out is the very opposite of taste.

@jacksondreyer @alvarofberro The Spectre is pretty loud visually, and ultimately there’s nothing special about electric cars outside of instant torque. The person driving (or being driven in) a Rolls Royce has little to no use for instant power

@sdfgb_n @alvarofberro You’re not wrong, but these brands are selling luxury + an idea. There’s nothing exclusive about batteries or special about electric motors. The heart of the car has been removed. Mercedes has pushed hard for EV’s and even they know better than to make an EV S class
