With hotter weather on the way, our waste & recycling collection crews will start their rounds up to 2 hours earlier this coming Monday and Tuesday Please put bins out the night before your collection is due, and help us spread the message by letting friends and neighbours know.

*Please share We’ve been informed of a scam circulating in which a member of the public received a text message about a PCN (Penalty Charge Notice). The message contained a link to a fake website that falsely uses the WNC logo to appear legitimate.

Yesterday, a large pile of refuse sacks (50 bags) was found on Gray Street in Northampton by our Neighbourhood Wardens. The pile has now been cleared, but we are actively investigating the incident. If you have any information, please report it to envcrime@westnorthants.gov.uk.

Think I've just found the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever come across, that goes to you @Biffa 👏🏼 #WellDone 🤦🏼‍♂️ Currently trying over 3 days, about 25+ mins, at various times and different numbers, YET to speak to ANYBODY!! Heading to my local service centre instead 🫩

*Please share* We are currently dealing with a fire at a store in St James Retail Park in Northampton. No one is believed to be injured as a result of the fire however Towcester Road is currently shut between the St Peter's Way roundabout and the Shell Garage roundabout.

Unfortunately, we have had to postpone tomorrow's 'Have-a-go' event at Mereway Fire Station, a new date will be advertised soon.
