No. I wasn't born here but I was adopted at 9 months from a military family and brought to the USA at 1 years old. I was raised a military brat, became a citizen at 10 years old, then married a military man who deployed often and I became a voice for Military Families advocating for their rights and helping soldiers, registered Conservative Republican. @JOKAQARMY1 I have to say this guy isnt wrong. My husband served 23 years as a Flight Engineer and deployed often to get these guys out on the aircrafts and there were things that were in fact undisclosed to the public during that time (FYI my husband has been retired now for 10 years).

As a GenX parent of GenZ'ers who are Conservatives, every time I raised my kids to "be the bigger person and just walk away" from a Liberal fight, they were bullied and that didn't make them stronger, it made them vulnerable! So because of that I'm iffy of Conservatives who continue to say "don't lower yourself to their level" or "be kind, it's how we defeat them" because they are the ones who will be the first to run during chaos.

Everyone trying to manipulate me with “Charlie would have done it the nice way!”, maybe missed the part when they shot him in the throat anyway.

I’ve noticed that the conservatives telling us to unite with the left and play nice aren’t on the hit list. It’s pretty easy and cheap to play the “reasonable” one when they don’t want to kill you. Some of us can’t afford to live in your fantasy world.

I'm GenX and I have Discord communities and even stream on discord for gaming and my podcast, so not just for kids. You can use it for chat, texting, sharing photos or videos, etc. Its similar to facebook, just a different designed platform (web or mobile). But the communities I'm in or I create are the ones I choose to be in (positive ones) and you can block people and report people. Discord is no worse or better than Facebook communities, it's how you use it and I honestly prefer Discord over FB. I've been in the tech industry since 1993 so for me, it was easy to monitor my kids (when they were kids) and I taught classes on internet safety . You just have to connect with your kids and understand what they are using. Which is why these kids are outsmarting parents because alot of parents don't want to take time to understand the tech and would rather blame. Parenting is harder now than it was 20 years ago and tech is only going to get more intense with AI.
