@VideosIrish Even worse is they actually look at the baby wipes to see how much 💩 they have wiped 🙈😂

@that_1 “On the floor in a fetal position” …isn’t that one of his wife’s sayings
English

@MColl_UK @benonwine Nearly everything doubled in price. A lot of things just changed from d to p. ( e.g. 5d became 5p. More than double).
English

@cairns_maureen @benonwine 1972 I was 16. Just after decimalisation and before the Icelandic cod wars.
Bus fare 4p
Beer 12p a pint.
Fish n Chips 1s/6p for many years 7½p. Went up drastically after the cod wars.
Fags were about 25p a pack.
Everything went up a lot in the first years of decimalisation.
English

@MColl_UK @benonwine I tipped my wages up to my mum, got £1 a week back. It paid my bus fares to work, 10 cigarettes & a night out on Saturday. (Still managed to save a bit too). I’m guessing around 1964
English

@benonwine In my late teens, you could go out for a few pints, buy a packet of fags, pay your bus fare home, buy fish and chips at your local chippy and still have change out of £1.

@GJohnson_1978 @benonwine @TheBritishScene Remember 20 cigarettes costing 2s11d (think petrol was3/11 a gallon)
English

@benonwine @TheBritishScene £0.55p
20 Players No6 Tipped.
My mother used to get me to purchase them years ago.

@gervaisclips When I rewatch Derek, I have to ff this scene. Heartbreaking. Thing is those tears are so real. Love the rest of the show.
English

@adrenaIinIendnz In the late 60’s early 70’s there were a lot of classes where babies only o few months old were dropped into the pool. It was said they reverted back to life in the womb & wouldn’t drown, didn’t risk it with my daughter.
English

@that_1 Well, as you love mentioning your mother, don’t forget that she gave you the title Spare. So, when you’re monetising her name AGAIN remember that bit.
English

@Britannia_Royal He is an unsung hero and I will always know him as the Kingsman.
English

@LairdOfThManor Loving that so many googled the flowers (nobody’s interested 😂😂)
English

@jlgreen29 @JordanNelson64 The Queen flew home to honour her commitments.
English

@Endy4mi @CaribbeanAutumm @HRHDukeThomas If you leave a job, you don’t keep getting the perks. He not only left, he insulted his family.
English

@CaribbeanAutumm @HRHDukeThomas Nope his father is. He’s not going to bring his children to a place where they do not feel safe. His father took their home and security.
English

@JustSoDuckie Thankfully both have much better dress sense since they got married.
English

They looked like a couple of clowns that day. No doubt they thought they were being clever.
Duchess of Geeks@DuchessofGeeks
To finish commemorating Catherine and William’s wedding, I would like to thank the York sisters for these hats and dresses which still provide so much humor even today. May their legacy live on in the annals of millinery.

@BBCTees @MWGoneFishing @RealBobMortimer So sad, lovely little chap. I always assumed he was Bobs dog. 💔RIP Ted

@Kathlee51501669 @LairdOfThManor He’s a member of the Metropolitan Police, nobody seems to know his name. He is the Kingsman, always close, always vigilant. He tells people to enjoy the moment when the King speaks to them & forget their phones. He’s really quite impressive
English

@LairdOfThManor Let's hope so. I see Johnny is there and the mysterious bearded fellow. Maybe an ex Gurkha? If so he would be a pretty tough cookie with some serious martial arts techniques.
Would love to know his background and his name.
English

@sharma_vanni12 @SpencerHakimian The “white object” is a pocket which has a watch in
English

@SpencerHakimian Even the King looks uneasy around Trump!
That fidgeting with the white object near the sash says it all, nerves or hidden tension?
Body language never lies in diplomacy. 🤭
English

@SpencerHakimian Looks like a morphine pump ? He apparently has cancer.
