I’m pleased to share that I have been assisting with the new Community Takeover Team (CTO) for @kadena_io. With that, new and exciting things are coming to $KDA! Over the next several days you will see the team making lots of changes, and building the next V2 of Kadena. @InFlux_Limited will be helping the team to get on their feet with legal, foundation and support on all platforms. All wallets and FusionExchange will support them moving forward. Me reason for helping was many things, right now the market sucks, and watching the KDA community get screwed, no thanks, they are our family as well. My commitment to decentralization has never been stronger. @RunOnFlux is laying the foundational groundwork for depin and perhaps there is a possibility to see KDA in FluxCore as well, true PoUW and usecase for the chain. Kadena Fork Update (Nov 13, 2025) I saw some interesting criticisms, some true and some wildly false so I thought I'd take some time to break down my thoughts for this update: Summary of arguments for/against the @kadena_io Fork: Facts/Truth-heavy -Accurately highlights replay vulnerability with on-chain data showing identical signatures validating across both chains due to propagation delays and node interconnectivity. -Lack of Protections: Truthfully notes absence of standard safeguards like new chain ID or replay measures; both forks retained "mainnet01" ID, rules, and $KDA ticker, enabling cross-chain replays in the rushed crisis timeline. -Empirical TX Proof: Provides direct explorer links to transaction hash confirming dual validity. -Legal Grounding: Bases potential issues on contract law, where unauthorized replays could breach signature consent in US/EU; mild opinion on global scope, but overall objective diagnosis. False/Opinion-Heavy -"Identity Theft": Labels vulnerability as "on-chain identity theft" while falsely claiming no exchange coordination, despite @Gate and @coinexcom support aiding 100 PH/s hashrate shift. -"Illegitimate" Upgrade Claim: Opinions the split as a disguised, artificial upgrade, downplaying its hard fork via protocol incompatibility at block 6335858 and the necessary 3.0 client update blocking old comms. -"Forced" User Risks: Subjectively accuses forcing users into dangers, ignoring self-custody warnings, @linx_labs Wallet migration tools, and advisories to minimize transactions during stabilization. -EU IP/MiCA Speculation: Speculates violations via name/ticker reuse, but countered by Kadena's August 26, 2025, patent non-renewal affirming open-source ethos predating the crisis. -Ethereum Idealization: Idealizes $ETH/ $ETC model while overlooking its disruptions and $ETC's decline; falsely overstating coordination gaps despite poolflare.net instant 50% hashrate switch and @AntPoolofficial 's pivot. -Ongoing "Unsafety" Overstatement: Exaggerates persistent threats from cloned TX, treating contained ~23M KDA losses and @binance 's 160M wallet as indefinite, even as old chain drops below 1% hashrate. -Blame and Appeals: Indulges in unsubstantiated blame ("incompetence and arrogance") on leaders like Pascal; falsely depicts revived ecosystem (devs returning, new board, migrating projects like @thebrothersdao ) as chaos, with tribal appeals for delisting ignoring fork's preservation of Kadena.
