@beascripts @Roblox_UGs I completely agree with you, but the way they’re handling this completely hurts new games. You can spend money on ads, but that doesn’t guarantee people will click or play your game especially when nearly 70% of Roblox’s player base is under 16.

Roblox Underrated Games.
Roblox Underrated Games.@Roblox_UGs·
We're planning to close the page down for good. After the update, it's clear that a lot of underrated games will be affected. Even though I tried to stay optimistic about it, Roblox's update has put us in a position where there's little to no action we can take to help- [1]

@TheRealStoryPlz So you’re excusing the company’s laziness by avoiding manual moderation and instead ruining the experience for many new developers?

So Roblox now expects devs to be ID verified, age verified, have good standing, enable 2-step, pay for rblx+, pay a 1000 Robux fee, AND somehow get 500+ 16+ visits just to access the <16 audience? I’ve seen people spend 50k+ Robux on ads and still not qualify. Crazy. #roblox

@LuciaDJKez @KreekCraft That's just not true at all, everyone had to start from somewhere ie. small dev.

Looks like Roblox is taking the nuclear option against inappropriate games. This is great for safety but will definitely make it harder for new developers to get started.

When your game has had fewer than 100 highly engaged players over the last 60 days, users under the age of 16 will no longer be able to play it. If a game is limited, it can regain access for Kids/Select users once the game has had 500 highly engaged players over the last 60 days.

DO NOT BUY THE 1000 ROBUX REFUNDABLE FEE, IT DOES NOT GIVE U ACCESS TO THE <16 GROUPS, IT IS A REPLACEMENT IF U DONT ALREADY HAVE RBLX+. ONLY BUY THINGS YOU KNOW WILL WORK.

@BSlickComposer Everything else that they've introduced is fine, but this "Highly engaged players" thing isn't gonna cut it. It'll quite literally kill all small developers.

Roblox isn't able to just "put restrictions" on "bad actors", any restrictions are going to affect everyone on the platform, it's the only way to make sure that they are effective

Seems bad, but it's much needed - this will HELP to keep "those bad games" out of the hands of younger players I'll reiterate what I've always said on this topic; either we want Roblox safer for kids or we don't, I don't think it's a gray area topic. These changes are needed.
KreekCraft@KreekCraft

It looks like Roblox is restricting all games to Ages 16+ by default. To reach younger players your game needs at least 500 unique age-verified 16+ players in the past 30 days. Otherwise your game stays locked to Ages 16+

@FightCoreRoblox @BSlickComposer Not at all, advertisements really has nothing to do with the age verification. Everyone has to do this to publish their game now.

The "Highly engaged players" is the worst thing ever. This just instantly kills a games MOST important point aka when it first releases. And it kills small games like mine that is purely used if people wants to donate. My game is never reaching 500 engaged players💔

Roblox just dropped a weird new 500-player rule on every new game… starting today. This isn’t just about the fee. To reach ALL ages (including under 16), your game now needs 500 unique plays from age-checked 16+ players in the last 30 days >Roblox judges those plays by session time, account age, alt checks, and spend history >One dev said his old uncopylocked game is now locked to 16+ only >Another dev said over half his players were under 16… and he can’t update it anymore That’s the trap. Games made for younger kids now have to get 500 older players first to prove they’re “safe.” Small creators are stuck in a loop... What is your thought on this?

@TizzzyRBLX Like this is just unbelievable, even having a lot of robux to spend won't change that fact. I unfortunately can't get pushed.

@TizzzyRBLX I'm conflicted right now brother, I spent the 1k robux (while having rblx+) no problem. The thing is I have to get an additional 500 visits to escape the 16+ trap. I'm afraid to waste ad credits to get these visits because my game is tendered for the younger kids. Whats the plan?

One thing ya’ll gotta understand. I’m an old man, gonna be 29 next month. I don’t give a fuck if some top devs hate me for spilling sauce. Most of the shit I say is common sense. Ya’ll so weird about gatekeeping man. Info isn’t even the bottleneck in this biz it’s acquiring and retaining talent 😭

@TizzzyRBLX Yo Tiz! Quick question with the new update requiring a 1000 Robux fee for games, do you think your recent video still applies, especially when it comes to collecting data? Do you think it’s still worth purchasing for younger age groups, or should we avoid it for now?

@FortniteGame @HappyPower I can agree that the locker/item shop could use a little bit of updating but this change wasn't necessary, rarities make items stand out so deleting them won't help anyone I appreciate the fact you've noticed our feedback for the UI. If you agree post your own opinion it'll help!

@HappyPower Hey – the change to remove color labeling from Shop items doesn’t change our approach or the way we price things. We just wanna simplify the appearance of Fortnite (Locker, Shop, etc) and remove outdated Battle Royale-inspired systems.

Epic is playing the Angel and Devil thing with the Item Shop. #Fortnite -Give a quality update (the timer) -Give a shitty update to remove rarities to trick you into thinking a skin is worth more than it is..🤧
