Look, we dislike UConn and they dislike us back…but the Big East has been disrespected the last couple of years and it’s good to see the conference in the final 4, and we hope that the momentum continues with getting 5+ teams back in the tournament, like this conference deserves

Not including Stanford as he departed the team and will inevitably transfer.
I believe that leaves 4 open scholarship spots if nobody portals out (which won’t happen)

Zion Stanford is not with Villanova in Chicago, sources say. He is listed as out on the availability report. Stanford practiced with the team yesterday, according to sources, but did not travel for the game.

Coach Pitino gave me my first opportunity as a coach, a fact I am forever grateful for. It is impossible to calculate how much I learned in every aspect of the game in my 10 years working for him. As a great competitor, he was often at his best after a loss. His energy and passion in those moments are part of what makes him a Hall of Fame coach. Coach is absolutely the best at what he does.
