It is also true that Trump did not try to de-escalate the violence for many hours; his inaction speaks volumes.

Biden would rather sue Texas for our efforts to secure the border than enforce federal laws that would eliminate this crisis. Texas will not back down. We will continue to build new barriers, repel illegal crossings, and transport migrants to relieve overwhelmed communities.

After the overturning of Roe, The Biden administration told hospitals they had an obligation to perform life-saving abortions under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act. Texas sued, arguing it was an overstep that mandated abortions. Texas women are forced to deliver dead babies. Texas women are forced to carry non-viable fetuses. Texas women are now unable to conceive due to sepsis. The Texas 5th circuit has sided with Texas. Republicans are not only cruel they are sadistic. Only a sadist would get pleasure in the pain that this ban is causing women and girls and those who love them. I am so sorry women and girls of Texas. We are united. As I have stated, myself and the Pro-life movement supports treatment for natural miscarriages.

After a miscarriage I had to have a D&C to remove the no-longer living fetus from my womb before it made me very ill. The doctors didn’t even consider denying me care. They did what was necessary. If that happened to me in Texas today they could say “no” to saving MY life for a deceased fetus. WTAF.

Republicans in Texas want to ban contraception while also banning abortion, travel to states which allow for abortion AND access to life saving abortion, but please do go on about how this isn’t an all-out war on women won’t you.
