This was me a few weeks ago in a Mum and baby unit. I was diagnosed with 3 chronic illnesses a while ago & recently had a flare up which tipped me over the edge mentally. I've been taking some time offline as it's all been a shock and what felt like the last straw of last straws.

@MichaelRosenYes Enjoyed hearing you speak about Getting Better at #Alleyn’s yesterday. My son William died suddenly in February 2022 aged 15 so what you write and say about Eddie really resonated with me. I would have asked you to sign your book but the queue was HUGE!

It's been a pretty awful few days for us as a family. I've got Peter with me today as I prepare to speak at the #acdrp event to tell Alexander's story and to share how other families experienced the multi agency response to their child's death. It's taken every ounce of energy

Hooray it’s Friday Eve! Got through 8 meetings & gave a lecture to 250 students today. Tomorrow I’m taking my younger daughter up to Newcastle for an open day. That’s where I studied (photo: me at uni). I loved showing Tory the sights & now I do the same for her sister 💙 #grief

i passed my PhD viva and am now a Dr! such a big thank you to my generous and challenging examiners Prof Bob Mills and Dr Catherine Grant, @alixebovey for chairing so warmly, and my supervisor Prof Jo Applin for supporting me during this project. and now-more queer work! #PhDone
