"In summary, we believe ergonomics profiles are a step forward in JVM tuning without complexity, allowing developers to continue relying on JVM defaults." @calderast_ and I have been cooking up this idea for a while. Follow-up on #OpenJDK mailing list: mail.openjdk.org/pipermail/hots…

It's been 4648 hours since Seattle was 70 degrees. We likely have less than two hours to wait for its return. #wawx

as a msft teams native, the hundreds of react options on slack overwhelms me. On teams, we only have 6 emotions 👍❤️😆😲🙁😡 On slack, someone just reacted to my message with a dolphin🐬?? what does it mean? are they mad at me? is a broccoli react positive or negative? help

I really think these fun names helped object-oriented programming come easily to me, and I LOVED telling my friends about the objects I named after them that day 😆😆 Moral(s) of the story: coding is allowed to be fun, and it's not stupid if it works :)

It helps differentiate between instance and static methods too. If your Square is named square, square.getHeight() can be confusing. (or maybe I meant Square.getHeight()?) claire.getHeight() is easy - I know I'm asking my square named claire for her height specifically😃
