@calderdotio @DeuceDoucette The price gauging comes from a combination of the LCBO monopoly and it's ability to set liquor prices across the province, even outside the LCBO, as well as the provinces insane taxes on alcohol. If both of those fall in line with other provinces, prices will decrease noticeably

I know this is a tad tight of my normal stance on things… but has anyone considered that the LCBO makes $2.5B a year because it’s a monopoly and we’re getting gouged like we do in every other walk of life? 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

sometimes it isn’t “moral posturing” and “virtue signaling” like some of us actually do care and are trying our best to embody our convictions idk!!!!!!
