We now know that the 2023 512GB 14” MacBook Pro uses a single SSD module - reason why it gets HALF the speeds of the 2021 512GB model. The weird thing is that the 2023 512GB 16” uses DUAL SSD modules, yet it still gets HALF the speeds of the 2012 512GB model. My theory: (1/3)

This is a niche but cool PSA for homeowners in California. Cal Water has rebate programs for removing lawns and replacing them with water friendly plants. It varies by city but I found out ours is $3/sq. ft. So we’d get $3,300 to replace our 1,100 sq. ft. lawn out front.
