BREAKING: Golden Knights to forfeit 2026 2nd round draft pick and John Tortorella fined $100,000 for “flagrant violations” of Media Policies.
The club did not hold any media availability after advancing to the Western Conference Final last night in Anaheim. #ForgedInGold

@MissinCurfew that’s fucking disgusting he deserves prison time for that move. Absolute bio hazard level goal
English

@calebpearson08 @CanuckSkate Ya not really, Covid year was a joke anyway and congrats you made like one decent playoff run in a decade with Hughes, is that some sort of accomplishment? It was his first year here lmao. What a loser organization to still be living in 2020 haha
English

@calebpearson08 @p9triot Nah we’ll resign him for 12+ and love to regret it lmao
English

Canucks fans have literally nothing to cheer about or no good news for their organization whatsoever other than Quinn Hughes getting bounced by a (head and shoulders) best team in the show. Just a total loooooser organization.
Bieksa’s Burner@BieksasBurner
quitt hughes left to play on a “way better team” and then got bounced earlier than he ever did with the Canucks 😂😂😂

@David_M_Giles @Canucks_Enjoyer Minny’s franchise is one of the only ones that have less accomplishments than Vancouver. Not to mention, minny/st Paul have tje least amount of championships between its 4 major sports teams.
English

@Canucks_Enjoyer Trolling Minnesota fans is a bad look. Our franchise is a joke by comparison and we look like idiots throwing stones.
English

@therealpaw121 @Jabs_13 They only have 13 million to spend next season and have like 11 UFA/rfa’s. Hughes is gone 😂

Immediate 2025-26 Minnesota Wild season reflection:
1. A step forward for the organization, they were damn close to the Avs despite two major injuries.
2. Jesper Wallstedt is HIM. A wealth of experience for the young stud and a lot of learning he can take with him into the offseason. No question he looks to be #1
3. Gotta feel really good about the Quinn Hughes situation. I don’t think anyone could’ve predicted how great of an impact and how unreal he was in a Wild jersey.
4. Matt Boldy, Kirill Kaprizov & Brock Faber are superstars and showed out in the playoffs.
5. The core is missing one piece (top line center), otherwise lots to be optimistic about moving forward despite the disappointment right now.
6. Still hate this playoff format. It’s dumb.
P.S. Billy G if ur reading this, go get a center :)
More to come on the Wild.

@U_LOST_TO_MN @CanuckSkate Made it farther with Hughes than the wild did btw
English

@CanuckSkate Stay mad you can’t retain talent because Vancouver is such a shit hole
English

@JLazzy23 Who says next year can’t be the year for them? The core isn’t leaving.
English

Even knowing how it ended, I still respect the move.
Colorado and Dallas aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. Minnesota couldn’t afford to just sit back and hope for the future.
He tried to make the team as good as it could possibly be and at the very least, the Wild are finally in that conversation now after years of being average.
Andrew McInnis@McInnispicks
Billy Guerin mortgaged the future to win five playoff games and it remains uncertain if Hughes is there long term.
English

@skattegoat @p9triot Out of all North American cities with 4 major sports teams, minny/st Paul are the biggest losers in sports. Hughes will leave you won’t have the money to resign him. Thanks for the assets hope it was worth it for 60 games 😂😂😂😂
English

@OldChilliCold @piperboywilliam Defending another man this hard like he give a fuck about you 😂 shits sad
English

@calebpearson08 @piperboywilliam Go get him if you're really about that
English

@piperboywilliam Lol mess with Myron if you want to... Myron will catch a body and won't shoot himself in the process. And he'll get off. Leave that fool alone
English

@worldhockeyrpt Nah Foote is the tank commander he should stay for 2 more years
English

@camwardszn I’m glad we’re getting a new front office, and trading Hughes forced a proper rebuild for the first time since the early 2000’s. There’s a long way to go but I’m hopeful this one turns out decent. I do hope the preds figure it out, hockeys more fun when they are a good team
English

Fuck if I know, brother. Just constant idiotic decisions and outdated methods of roster construction. At least that’s what I can say for us. It’s a shame really. I grew up loving hockey and the Preds so much. Now they’re barely a thought in my mind at least until they announce their newest fuckup and I go on my tangent. Maybe one day they’ll take themselves serious again, or more likely relocate.
As for y’all I’m not so sure. You guys have had moments of intense success and great talent for sure. I honestly think parting ways with Hughes was what you needed. He seems to be proving he’s not capable of being a leader, regardless of talent.
English

No one wants to come here. Pretty simple. We will be left with the scraps of what’s remaining in candidates. And we are scrambling because of it.
Predators Muse@PredatorsMuse
Elliotte Friedman on the Preds GM search: “I still wonder if Nashville is waiting to speak to somebody who either just finished competing or is now competing in the playoffs cause it doesn't exactly make sense what's going on there” Do the Predators even have a plan?

Are #Canucks going to hire Evan Gold as their next GM? 👀
