I've been PLENTY negative about Kentucky's recruiting situation over the last 12+ hours. However, I'm not going to pile on about Coach Pope's current trip to Israel.
Making fun of Márcio Santos' stats simply shows you don't understand international basketball.
Yes, he averages 8.4 points & 4.1 rebounds per game. However, he was a solid rotation player (what he would be asked to be at Kentucky) in the EuroLeague which is the highest level of basketball competition in the world outside of the NBA/Olympics.
You now who averages 9.1 & 5.4 for Maccabi Tel Aviv? TJ Leaf...who averaged 16.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game as a freshman at UCLA and was the #18 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Jacob Polacheck does amazing work for KSR/On3, and it feels like Kentucky fans never give him the credit he deserves and he only gets bashed and hated online.
Since Polacheck moved to Kentucky, he has been nothing but nice to me, whether it’s getting lunch together, seeing each other at Thursday Night Live in Lexington, or occasionally texting back and forth.
He’s one of the nicest people to talk to and be around.
