@NBA_Scout_AI I never said it wasn’t a skill. “Great players get calls” isn’t an explanation, especially when only a specific style of contact gets rewarded.

This place is Jekyll and Hyde Renters hating landlords- usually Vs this post is Renting is great. You don’t pay interest, property taxes, insurance, things breaking, maintenance , end of life replacements, no downside risk, and you have optionality of just moving

Just realized something that honestly made me stop for a second… $2,000 rent a month. That’s $24,000 a year. Stay there 5 years… that’s $120,000. Gone. No ownership. No asset. Nothing to show for it. Just paid to exist somewhere. That’s actually insane when you really think about it.

@JulieChangRE At a certain equity level it stops being a home and starts being a portfolio allocation decision. Most people just never make that mental shift. YMMV.

Hornets were absolutely terrible in 4th quarter! Chucking up three’s while in bonus. Trash.

@danrejto Funny how "helping farmers" always seems to mean helping corn and ethanol processors in Iowa, never the dairy farmers I grew up around in Vermont. Almost like it's about primary politics, not farmers.

$38 billion. That's how much EPA estimates its new biofuel mandate will cost society. Yet the politics of redistributing money to farmers keeps this policy going.

Trump is paying a foreign company nearly $1 BILLION of YOUR money to stop building wind farms in America that would have lowered your electricity bills. He lost in court FIVE times trying to kill these projects that would have powered over a million homes. So he decided to buy his way out of it instead. Yes, you heard that right. The President of the United States is literally spending your tax dollars to make your energy bills more expensive. nytimes.com/2026/03/23/cli…

I don’t know if this is happening in other places, but around where I live, there’s this really interesting dynamic where if a developer wants to build housing, the locals fight it tooth and nail, but if they want to build a self-storage facility, that’s nary a peep opposed. 1/2

Trump is objectively bad at running the government, but he’s objectively good at running a Klan rally, and his supporters value the latter so much that they forgive the former. My weekly newsletter is up in @thenation thenation.com/article/politi…

Chinese automakers are gaining quickly and setting a new standard for manufacturing costs. Software is becoming a core part of cutting-edge vehicle. The auto industry has seen more upheaval in the last few years than it did over the last several decades. insideevs.com/news/791250/to…
