So the hero’s restraint in NOT shooting or knocking the terrorist senseless with his own rifle allowed the terrorist to simply walk away and engage in further terrorism? And it allowed the terrorist to rearm himself and shoot at someone else? Do I have this right?
Billboard Chris 🌎@BillboardChris

Incredible heroism and tragedy at Bondi Beach. An Australian man walked up from behind the terrorist and disarmed him. He then showed incredible restraint in not blasting him, only for the shooter to walk away and grab another rifle on the bridge. One man then left from the cover of a tree and was shot. Finally, another man approached the bridge and started shooting at the terrorists.

Unpopular observation: The “hero” who took the gun away from the Bondi shooter let him walk away and grab another gun to keep shooting.

@goddek and how many of the 35 Texas mass shootings (just this year) have you personally stopped with your weapon, Dr Goddek? If you need them and gun control is so bad, why has Australia only had one mass shooting in almost 30 years?

🇦🇺 Now imagine Australia hadn’t disarmed its population. This is what happens when the government and terrorists hold a monopoly on weapons. Law-abiding civilians are left defenseless, while those willing to use violence aren’t. THIS WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED IN TEXAS!

@JackLinFLL He “shouldn’t” have done anything at all. He CHOSE to put himself in harms way to save as many people as possible. He CHOSE to potentially leave behind his family to protect other families. What he did is the most courageous act I’ve seen in years. He did more than most.

After seeing the longer video of the Bondi Beach Australian terrorist attack I can say the hero definitely should have incapacitated terrorist #1 and took out #2 from behind the tree. He definitely got hit a few times. Hope he's okay 🙏🙏
