As someone who grew up in the Muslim world, I’ve seen this pattern repeat itself: When Muslims are weak and in the minority, they speak endlessly about tolerance, coexistence, and peace. When they become strong and gain power, that tolerance completely disappears, even toward their own people. This isn’t an opinion. This is historical fact, proven across centuries and across many countries. The West needs to understand this pattern before it’s too late. Tolerance in Islam is not a principle. It’s a strategy.

Ok don’t fight about it but I take the stance that our nations documents from the very beginning make it well worth it to learn cursive. Not essential to the modern world? Honestly that sounds like a lazy take. The “meh” it’s “good enough” attitude. I have no time for anyone with an attitude like that.

I face more ideological resistance from students today than I did 10 years ago. Here's what I mean. Yesterday, I had a group of 14-year-olds argue with me about capitalization. Many of them rarely use capital letters correctly in their writing, and they genuinely believe capitalization is unnecessary, or even "dumb." When I told them that I take points off for ignoring capitalization, they insisted it was unfair. Ten years ago, I almost never had conversations like this. Students might have forgotten the rules. They might have been careless. But they rarely argued that the rules themselves didn't matter.

This is a no brainer. How do you bring in outsiders to compete with your very own for the same limited jobs. An objectively obvious way to hold down wages. Jobs must be not only created but they must be held for Americans only.

The kings of the north. There, by the river, they bent the knee. And that morning he took a new title. Not king of Wessex. Not king of the Saxons. King of the English. All of them. You are correct why would we ever want future generations to be able to read the original writings of our Founding Fathers? You know the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution.. Could it have started when in elementary school they were taught that spelling no longer mattered? I recall being outraged years ago when my son was entering the 3rd grade and on parents night we were informed that not only would cursive no longer be taught but also spelling no longer mattered. Admittedly I was stunned into silence. But made a personal decision to teach those things to my child myself. Not every child though has a parent such as myself. To step up and fill in the gaps the public education left wanting.
