A Fayetteville, NC area school teacher just filmed herself in bed ranting that America is broken in 2026 because “we never punished the South.” She claims the Confederacy “won,” is raising generations who deny “white privilege” while believing in an invisible God, and that harsher consequences after the Civil War would have fixed everything. Reality: The South was devastated. Over 620,000 Americans dead — mostly on Southern soil. Cities burned. Railroads and farms destroyed. Military occupation during Reconstruction. Three Constitutional amendments forced through to abolish slavery and secure rights. This isn’t history. It’s grievance fan fiction demanding collective, multi-generational punishment of an entire region for 1861 decisions. And it’s coming from someone shaping young minds. Lincoln called for “malice toward none, with charity for all.” This is the opposite — and it’s being sold as education. If teachers are pushing ancestral regional hatred instead of truth and unity, the real problem isn’t insufficient punishment in 1865. It’s the refusal to teach accurate history and move forward as one nation. Parents, pay attention.
